I recently made a small purchase with T&T, around $30. Cards arrived about 5 days after purchase, which is good considering I ordered on a Friday. Upon inspection, one of the two cards ordered as NM had fairly significant chipping on the bottom right corner of the card face. The other card was in perfect condition.
I contacted Tonya, as referenced by DanAtog earlier in this thread, and received a very prompt reply. She not only answered my email at length, and offered to accept a postage-paid return of the card (it was a Lotus Cobra), she forwarded the email to the buying/grading department, who also answered promptly, explained how occasional grading mistakes have occurred during buying in the past and what they have done to improve consistency in their current grading of purchases, and apologized and stated that they would like me to return the card for a replacement.
The bottom line is...I now have a replacement Lotus Cobra on the way to me via FedEx, the new card having been personally inspected before shipment, with a prepaid FedEx return pack enclosed for the original card to be returned after I receive my replacement. All of this was accomplished the same day with a single email. Mistakes can happen with any company, but I couldn't have asked for better customer service from anyone. Thanks guys!
well i have placed 4 orders wit TnT
there prices ared good for rares but not for comons/uncomons/token
the only bad thing i have to say is... well nothing
they pack stuff in a very good way and i must say that there random stuff is sooooooooooooo funny
try the mythics rares at random for 0,99 i got a baneslayer out of it
on crucible of worlds
Primarily because it is too easy to combo with thing like Fastbond, along with Strip Mine/Wasteland/Ghost Quarter. It's about as fun as having someone paper cut your uretha.
Troll and Toad is the only card shop online that I ever buy from/sell to. They have competitive prices and fast shipping too. The only problem they usually have is stock issues. Sometimes it takes them forever to get a certain card in stock.
I have had an excellent experience with them each order. One time I had placed an order for a box and as I went to place it the price changed in my cart. I called customer support and they were very helpful. they noticed it was different from within my cart as from the site itself (the database had not updated). They issued me credit for the difference. great business. Oh and btw I ordered a primeval titan from them a few days ago. theyre only 34.99 with .99 ship. the lowest on magiccards.info

I have ordered dozens of times from them, and have never had any complaints. I've always received my orders within 3 business days in the States, and was delighted to find that the 99-cent shipping was still possible while I was New Zealand (although that took about 5-10 days to ship).
Occasionally I've received cards that were in slightly less than NM condition (that I'd ordered as NM), but nothing majorly bad.
The only thing remotely negative thing about them is that they don't always have obscure cards I want for EDH in foil...still waiting on them to get a foil 8th Ambition's Cost in stock.
I've always been happy with them, and will continue going to them first when I need to order cards online.
I ordered about US$100 of stuff for cube. It only took about a week to get to Tokyo and everything was present and accounted for and in the conditions I was expecting. I'd definitely use them again
While I generally have good experiences with T&T, my last few orders was a slightly disappointing to say the least. They sent me cards which would definitely be rated as "played" when I placed an order for "near mint". This was particularly annoying since one of the "played" cards was Azusa, Lost but Seeking (there were some depressions and some whitening at the top of the cards*) and she was supposed to be my EDH general*. I'd return the postage but given that the delivery took five days shy of a month** and I sorta need the general for a little EDH league I have here, it is certainly not worth making the return.
That said, it took eight orders before T&T started giving me a minor bad experience Otherwise, much of its services has been stellar. I even had cards delivered to a friend in another country (as a present) and if I heard correctly, the delivery was speedy and the card quality was as ordered.
* As per forum rules, this can be substantiated by scans if requested.
** This is probably through no fault of T&T. My country's Customs Services released it within two weeks, indicating that the postal services in my country stinks
I order from them all the time. I can't count how many orders i made with them, been using them for over a year getting a few orders a month. Out of them only one of the $99 shipping packages got lost and took a month to get back to me. (I used a office location and company name was not on package) Cards are always what I ordered. So far haven't had any problems with my cards. I definitely recommend them. since I got the address fixed never had a problem since. I still use a service with signature if it's a big order ($75 or more), but that's my own paranoia.
T&T has been great everytime I've used them. Only other vendor I use on E-Bay is Tap That Games, smaller, but can often find things a bit cheaper and they ship quick.
Does anybody seem to have VERY slow or unresponsive experiences with their site? It seems that after searching 2-3 cards, the site either gets extremely slow or errors out completely! I thought maybe it was their server for sure, but I can get on their site with my phone without issue... though, my computer (through my cable line) can access any other site on the net without any issues.

Sad
Their site is horrendously slow. It almost makes me not want to order anything, but sometimes their 99 cents shipping is great. I did just make a bunch of recent orders, and they were missing 2 cards from my largest order. I fully expect them to ship those to me. The only other complaint I have is that I ordered only NM cards, and a few of those times, I was given cards that were very clearly NOT NM.
It's been slow like this since as far as I know October. I really want to pull the trigger on some things that are very expensive at the usual trusted vendors, but I don't want their website to time out when I'm about to complete my order.
I have been shopping with them for a couple of years. They have timely shipping and great prices. I recently sold them some cards for the first time and they were awesome, especially when I had questions about their processing time. Their customer service is top notch.
Funny that this just got bumped. I have shopped T&T quite a bit and have never had a problem until now. They have yet to respond to my inquiry about a card that arrived creased when it was advertised as Near Mint.
This is one of the (few) companies I have faith in getting my situation rectified, so even though problems can arise from time to time (as with anyone), I still would gives a thumbs up for T&T.
I ordered a bunch of foil cards earlier this year to foil out my spread 'em deck, which included 4 foil (normal zendikar version) day of judgment. I got 3 normal foil doj and 1 buy-a-box foil doj when the cards arrived.
However, since I wanted and ordered 4 normal foil version of the card (normal foil version was cheaper than the buy-a-box promo at that time, and I perfer to have a playset of the same art in my deck), I sent an email to them and they sent me another normal foil version of the card.
Trollandtoad has been my go to site to order cards from for a couple years now. Always get cards fast and in great shape.

Odds of pulling a JtMS from a WWK pack: 1:80
Odds of pulling any specific rare in 5th Edition: 1:133
So, on average, 1 JtMS every 2.222 boxes or 1 Bird of Paradise every 3.694 boxes. Yeah, I'll take my odds with Mythics, they are easier to get than old rares.

I am thinknig about sending bulk commons to them for $5.50 for 1000.
has anyone done this before? is it a good idea to do it with trollandtoad?
If you cannot sell them to them in person, then Its probably not that great a deal, if simply due to shipping costs. Thats the kicker of course is when you sell to places you have to pay to cover the shipping.
If you can just drop them off without having to worry about shipping costs, then no, thats not a bad deal at all.

I'm having the exact same issue. Won a NM card on eBay through them (and it shows up on my current/past orders screen) which is actually quite played. I've sent messages via their site and eBay and haven't received anything back.
I'm honestly shocked at how unresponsive they are being. I've spent WAAAAAY too much money there over the years and the lack of customer service is quite offputting, almost to the point where I will never go back.
I'll give an update when I have a resolution. Hopefully someone is just on vacation/slow to respond and not that they just don't care anymore.
