Anyone have issues with release of there RTR singles I orderd 2pcs Angel of Serenity along with crap rares martial law and a couple of cyclonic rifts, usually they ship 1-2 days after payment has been confirmed, until now its still on verified status, I emailed them twice and twice they said they are fixing lots of orders.
This thread is full of idiots... Lightning Bolt is NOT being reprinted.
Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.

They should be sending out soon. The RTR singles I won at auctions have just been sent out recently. Been buying cards from them for about 2 years now, mainly via auctions, and had zero problems so far.

same here this is my 4th purchase from them but this is the first time its been delayed by over a week, I guess it must be a backlog with all the RTR orders

no prob for me with mtgmintcard. one thing to note, their shop is in HK, not China.
since im in HK, i just go to their office to pickup everything I need.
their prices are pretty fair and on the cheaper end
This is frankly just being ignorant. People dont complain that expensive things exist, they get annoyed when there are no alternatives to the expensive versions of cards.
Its a card game. People want to play the card game. They arent mad that certain pieces of cardboard are rare and collectable. They get upset when there arent alternative printings that allow them to play the game.
NEVER EVER USE THIS SITE TO SELL CARDS!!!! I sent them an order that was too good to believe but they seemed reputable and other people had never had a bad experience. Here is the order:
Buylist Order Number: 677
Date Ordered: Friday 16 November, 2012
Products
------------------------------------------------------
4 x Restoration Angel (Used) (AVRR001) = $72.00
8 x Silverblade Paladin (Used) (AVRR002) = $81.60
3 x Sigarda, Host of Herons (Used) (AVRM002) = $27.30
4 x Terminus (Used) (AVRR037) = $38.40
First off it took them almost a month to process the order even tho my shipping it Priority Mail had it there in less than 2 weeks. I kept asking where my money is and they finally sent me $108 Total! Claiming that all my cards were damaged. I bought insurance from the PO and they said that the packaging was not damaged but my cards were. All of these cards were binder kept and never played. I'm a trader and part time seller I know how to take care of cards and I know when a card is mint or not. This is crap and I'm going to fight it. Anyone else have an international experience and have any advice?
Forget dealers, you usually get more and have less hassle selling on eBay.
This is true.
But I've had great experiences with ABUgames and Troll & Toad for what it's worth. Sometimes it's cheaper to move $100s worth of < $2.00 cards via store buylists. More than one time, I've bought ~50+ of a $0.25 rare from T&T that didn't "work out" and sold back for $0.11 bulk... quick and easy.
It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.

The thing with MTG (MINT) CARD is the emphasis on MINT. They typically only sell, and are well-known for only selling pack-fresh mint-condition cards. If there was even the smallest thing wrong with your cards, they would no longer be up to standards for them most likely.
Did you request pictures from them of the cards so you could see what the damage to the cards was? Ive purchased cards from them several times in the past and never ran into a condition issue, but Ive never sold to them before, so I couldnt really tell you there. If it hasnt been too long, I would request more information from them to find out how the cards were damaged, especially if the package itself wasnt damaged at all.
I bought a playset of Gatecrash commons and uncommons, a playset of Return to Ravnica commons and uncommons, and a few singles from MTGMintCard recently. The total order (after shipping) was over 150 USD. When I got my order, I noticed that six cards were missing from my Gatecrash playset and four cards were damaged.
I expected them to fix my order without question, but they insisted that I sent pictures of the damage as proof. These aren't valuable cards; it's not like I'm asking for extra playset of valuable/playable cards. I assumed that they'd correct the issue immediately, but instead I have to jump through hoops.
I'm not necessarily so bothered that the order was screwed up. Mistakes happen and we're all human. What bothers me is that though my time is valuable to me, it's not valuable to them; I have to waste my time to show proof. Makes me wonder what their endgame is here. They claim it's to keep a record for themselves and take steps to improve their shipping methods, but I don't believe that: Do they think I'm making this up? Do they hope I'll drop the issue so that they don't have to replace the missing and damaged cards? I'm not sure.
Since I've gone through the trouble of taking these pictures, I may as well post them online for the rest of you guys to see. MTGMintCard has asked that I include this statement from them: "We appreciate if you could also tell the others that the damage maybe caused in the delivery and MTG Mint Card Store has followed up your case shortly after your notification." Again, I would like to reiterate that the damage to the cards doesn't bother me as much as the effort that I have to take to get this matter fixed.
Update: They asked me via e-mail to re-confirm my shipping address and have agreed to send replacements for the missing and damaged items. (Why do I have to re-confirm? Can't they just send it to the shipping address that they shipped the previous order to? Do they hope I'll forget to respond and confirm?) They've also felt I wasn't accurately portraying both sides of the argument here and have added the below paragraph to the e-mail. They didn't ask me to copy this paragraph onto this post, but I will anyway.
From MTG Mint Card: "Also, please kindly understand that this is the company policy that the photos of the damaged items have to been kept for record and improve our service. We have explained the importance of the photos in the convesation [sic]. However, we are sorry to know that you just copy one sententence [sic] in our conversation, but not included our explanation. We will reserves [sic] the right for the issue."
I'm still very disappointed with their customer service.
Honestly, in my opinion, you are making a mountain out of a mole-hill with the situation.
Its not like it takes much effort to take a quick picture of the cards, nor to send them an email or two to confirm everything for certain. And while its unfortunate that you had some missing cards, I suppose when you are dealing with upwards of 1,000 cards, its entirely possible for a couple cards to be missed, or for the damage on a couple to go unnoticed.
Ive dealt with them before, and they have always been nothing but polite and understanding in any transaction Ive ever had with them. You need to stop making so many negative assumptions and assume, for a moment, that they are being honest with you, and that they arent out to try to screw you.
And, in the end, and with relatively minimal effort, you are now going to get your replacement cards, free of charge, and without issue. Sounds like an okay resolution to the situation to me :).
If Im not understanding something correctly, then feel free to let me know. And just so theres no confusion, Im just a poster on these forums and have no affiliation with the business in question at all.
I've dealt with MTGMINTCARD under various names for many years. In fact, I was his very first customer, ever. I left him his first feedback.
I don't know how they sell so cheaply, and no, selling in bulk isn't the secret. Pretty sure they have a very cheap source of product in China. But yeah, overall when I'm looking for a few cards and he's got them, I'll go for it. Only charges $2 for shipping and $1 for each additional.

Heh, just pointing out that business transactions are a form of affiliation. I know that what you meant is that you're not employed by that business and aren't being paid to endorse them.

Pretty sure they are also a distributor in china or something like that. I used to know the owner really well on MTGO way back in the day but they have blown up and I don't ever see him around anymore.

Quick question: Does MTGMintCard sell S-Chinese or T-Chinese cards? I'm working on a Global set of something and I want to make sure I know which one I'm actually getting.
I've placed a couple of orders with MTGMINTCARD. Overall I'd have to say their prices/shipping/condition is somewhere between excellent and stellar.
If you sell current in-print products such as RTR or GTC I can see them as a real pain because they flood the market with singles/playsets. But if you're a player it's great for you because their auctions always resolve below the cheapest BIN and cards for a few set start to bottom out faster. We're here to play, right?
I wish I knew how they manage to get so much inventory and churn it through eBay and still remain profitable.
Quick question: Does MTGMintCard sell S-Chinese or T-Chinese cards? I'm working on a Global set of something and I want to make sure I know which one I'm actually getting.
Given they're in Hong Kong, it should be S-Chinese (as this is what is sold in China, while T-Chinese is sold in Taiwan). Going off their site...
... and checking the version...
... yup, that's S-Chinese.
I've dealt with MTGmint on several occasions and been very satisfied. 95% of the time, I have no issues whatsoever, and when there is an issue, they have incredible customer service. I remember I once ordered thraximundars from them, and about a playset of them were SP. I contacted them about it, took the pictures, and they sent out replacements. But the replacements were Karrthus instead. I informed them of this, and they sent out yet another set of thrax, and told me to keep the Karrthus and SP thraxs for my trouble. I'd have been happy with a 4 dollar refund, and instead got 60 dollars worth of extra cards. Thanks MTGmintcard!

Anyone else have experience with their buylist? They have some very generous offers on there for a few cards....
I'm in the middle of a transaction with them and everything is going well so far. I buylisted a bunch of small cards to get a Chinese Foil card. (note: even though they're in Hong Kong which looks to be mainly Traditional, they only deal in Simplified Chinese cards....I asked).
For a total of $40.25. I asked around a little, and was told ahead of time that do heavily scrutinize the cards they receive. I made sure that everything I sent was in good condition, but I'm sure there were small things that I missed (dings, smudges, etc.), so that's why I sent a little extra to compensate for what I wanted to get from them. So depending on how you want to utilize the buylist, be aware that they will be strict. I sent out 6/24 or 6/25. They replied back on 7/7 that they received the cards and gave me a store credit of $37.03, so I wasn't too far off in my grading.
Make sure to use the card list they provide you to printout and however you send the cards have them ordered in the same way as on the printout. I hand wrote the buylist prices as well on the paper since it didn't print them, but that's just me being OCD about it.
These were to purchase a S-Chinese Foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx which they have listed at $32.99. Right after I received the email that my store credit came through I bought these:
S-Chinese Foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (32.99) Spirit of the Labyrinth (1.39) Dictate of Kruphix (0.64)
Postage to US ($2.00) (...left me with $0.01 store credit.)
Within a day I received an email that my order was being processed. So currently I'm waiting (probably for a couple of weeks) for it to hit my door.
As far as customer service; they have been very considerate and attentive to all of my questions and replied to each of my emails (Since this was my first time working with them I had a lot of questions).
Hope this helps.
*Update* I received the Nykthos! Looks great. Not exactly sure when since my boys didn't let me know it came in and it sat for a few days, but I'm guessing it came in sometime around 7/12, so about 2 1/2 weeks for the whole thing. It did look like they first sent it to a shop they have in Wash. state, then they forwarded it on to me.
Im thinking of purchasing some cards, at the moment are they reliable and should i be worried about fakes or worried about not recieving the right cards?
any responses are great!
just finished a pruchase with them, there shipping improved, I used to wait 2-3 weeks for regular mail shipments, now they shipped UPS and I thought I was getting my cards Monday I got them yesterday friday.
There prices are fair, I actually missed out on Kaldesh Blooming marshes and smugglers copter, which were only $4 and 1.89 at the start of pre order.
