Anyone ever have any issues with these guys? I placed an order back in March that never arrived and was given 50% of my total purchase in store credit. Kind of annoying but I know that stuff happens.
So I place another order at the beginning of the month and I never receive the e-mail saying that my cards have shipped, the stock of the cards I ordered is 0 and they haven't answered my facebook message or e-mail I sent them earlier this week. I'm trying to be a good dude here but this is frustrating. Anyone have anything to say about this store?

9 times out of 10, if you call the business directly, you are going to get a response, where as using the methods you used, more often that not may not end up getting you an immediate response. Its unfortunate that more businesses dont keep track of their emails or what not, but sometimes a quick call to the business can solve your issues without having to wait :).
They seem to have quite a bit of neutral and negative feedback on tcgplayer, but as Jeff stated, I'd try calling them as that should take care of the issue. If not you can always dispute the charge and get it refunded. Here's a link to their tcg feedback:
The absolute BEST thing you can do is use the TCGplayer Message Center (Order History > Contact Seller) and send them a message. This allows TCGplayer to monitor their response and jump in and directly refund you.
If you try and contact them outside of TCGplayer via Email or as you said Facebook, then we can not monitor their response.
Typically a store will respond through our system within 24 hours and if they do not then you can escalate the issue to TCGplayer and we can directly get involved on your behalf.
They are terrible. I ordered cards 11-25, I got the cards 12-16, AFTER I requested and received a refund. TCGPlayer was helpful because I used their message system. Green Lake Games is the worst, I sent the cards back with a note explaining to them that they are terrible and I would pass on that they do terrible business.
Thought I'd necro this thread because of an experience I had with them. It is making me laugh, and not in a good way.
I ordered a foil copy of Xenagos, the Reveler from these guys via Amazon just before it jumped in price. They said they shipped it, but no tracking. It never arrived. I contacted them through Amazon's messaging service, they said they'd reship it. It still never arrives. I ask them where it is, they say "We're sorry, we got it back in the mail so we're going to refund you." I get the refund, the price of the card had gone up $10, so I left negative feedback for them because I paid and they never delivered.
Today I got something in the mail from them - an apology, and an unopened pack from Khans of Tarkir. They were trying to say that they were sorry I had a bad experience, and that I left negative feedback.
The stupidest thing is that they proved that they do have my correct shipping address, and can ship things to me... but they can't do it for the card I want, only to request for me to remove/change that negative feedback. Sigh.
I actually live in the same city as Greenlake Games and regularly go to events there. I would NOT recommend ordering from them, partly because their prices are quite high, and partly because their customer service is pretty mediocre. A month or so ago I ordered a Spider Umbra from them. I realized I also needed a Strip Mine so I called to cancel my order and place one for both cards. It still hasn't been sent and it charged for me for the Spider Umbra...oh well I guess I can ask them about it next time I am there.
I wanted to post about a recent experience I had with Green Lake Games.
I pre-ordered some cards from Magic Origins from their eBay store (bgl_games).
They provided fake tracking information and didn't send the cards. They also ignored all my emails, and blocked me from their Facebook page when I tried to post there to ask them about it.
Looking at their eBay feedback from the last month, there are hundreds of people who have been similarly scammed.
There are also Reddit threads about this issue with Green Lake Games.
I also posted in the thread about sellers who don't honor pre-orders if the cards spike in value. I'm also planning to make a separate thread for the Green Lake Games store. I encourage anyone who has recently been scammed by this company to make it known.
Don't do business with this store; they don't deserve your support or money.
Green Lake screwed me too back in Dragons of Tarkir preorder. I preordered a Narset and a few Collected Companys off their Amazon storefront. They didn't provide tracking and after 3 weeks of no sign of the package I contacted them. Their owner apologized and told me he would send replacements. Almost another month goes by and I go to Amazon who thankfully refunded me my original payment. I didn't realize GLG were full of ***** until I went to go leave a negative review. More than half of the reviews were 1 stars with the same story as mine. The best thing about this was some of the reviewers mentioned that the owner had sent them the exact same email as I received. The owner's heartfelt apology was literal copy & paste garbage. Don't buy from Green Lake Games, I hope they get shut down.
I did this in the hopes that it will get stickied as a warning for others to avoid this store. I've emailed a mod about it and hope they get back to me.
