Here's perhaps an odd question. I've been on Magic online since Scars of Mirroden block, so a few years now. I tend to try and accumulate enough cards during the drafting season to redeem one complete set, and sell everything else of note to keep drafting. But sometimes cards go up in value after they have cycled out and I, who only play limited drafts, don't really know about it. For example, I only just recently found out that Serum Visions was worth something, searched my collection, and, low and behold, I had three of them sitting there. I think maybe I got two of them from promo giveaways, and another one from a 1-shot Mirroden/Scars mash up sealed thing that they did some time ago.
So the question is, what cards might I have in my collection that are worth something that I have no idea about? Basically anything from Scars of Mirroden block and forward that maybe no one cared about at the time, but found a place somewhere later. Is there anything? Including the promos that they give away for playing because I have all those, though I imagine they aren't worth much since everyone gets them.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.

Speaking of cards you had forgotten you owned, a while back I was considering compiling a 10th Edition set to redeem, and bought a bunch of the bulk rares but then gave up on the project as the paper set buyer backed out. No big deal, I'd only blown 3 or 4 tix on cards and couldn't be bothered reselling them.
When Vintage Masters had been out a little while, I sold the Hurkyl's Recall I'd forgotten about from that lot for 55 tickets. (That card does not hold value now due to MM2)
On the M15 Sengir - it was only in preconstructed decks. Almost noone wants it, but there are so few in circulation that they are a legitimate oddity; like a paper misprinted card can sometimes fetch a premium price. The same is true of a few other cards in that set, with Terra Stomper being the least awful of them.

Some scars lands are shooting up.
This next link lists in demand cards
http://www.mtgotraders.com/hotlist/
So can I assume if something's not on those lists it isn't worth basically anything?
Edit: so weird. Was there some kind of bug that made 2015 uncommon Sengir Vampire actually super rare or something?
some m15 cards were only in starter packs or something and the starter packs were super rare
just scan the lists on goldfish and then you can cross reference the hotlist to see what the bots will actually pay
