This card was in Ried Duke's Invitational runner-up deck. I played a match against a similar list in a PPTQ and lost twice to a tutored Whip off Sidisi's exploit. I think it might be a thing.

"Because we cannot prevent draws in paper Magic we allow IDs. If we could prevent draws we would not have IDs in paper Magic. " Scott Larabee.
There is an update coming in a few minutes. I did not watch the final day of Invitationals due to family commitments so i did not see how the finals performed or even all what new cards is used. I do like the Sultai Reanimator deck Reid piloted.
Ojutai is seeing play in Jeskai/Token decks as a finisher and is good with Ascendancy (untapping with ascendancy gives him hexproof). Seems good, but I guess we'll have to continue to see exactly how good.
Sidisi has proven to be nuts and versatile, as seen in the SCG invitational. An impressive body and tutor your win con/stabilizer, and also good with Whip. Also an obvious EDH all-star.
Narset looks a little high still, but I'm guessing she has some synergy with token or control decks. Can rebound token producers or burn, which is very good, in conjunction with stupid loyalty.
Thunderbreak is a no-brainer for decks looking to have good midrange aggressive strategies.
What are the chances of these price spikes holding? I still need one more non-foil Thunderbreak Regent, two foil copies, a foil Dragonlord Ojutai and a couple of non-foils. I don't know if I should go ahead and buy before they go up even more or wait because the set is still new and the prices might come back down like they did with cards such as Frontier Siege when Fate Reforged was new.
This set is so bad that you had better buy what you want now before everything else drops in price leaving all the box value in a handful of cards.
I don't expect people to keep buying this once MM15 comes out. Standard only players can save their money for Origins, a set with 5 new planeswalkers and most likely a cycle of rare land and possibly some expensive reprints as a send off for the core sets.

That's true, but won't people be drafting it until Magic Origins comes out? (I can't remember WHEN that is).
Dont forget this set is also the first set of the standard after Khans/Fate rotate. This set is quite good and the immediate impact this weekend shows it is.
What is this, some sort of April Fool's Joke three hours early?
I roll to disbelieve.
With that said, I would be all too glad to sell you all the Dragonlord Silumgars you want for $1,280, as I know that is a completely unsustainable price.
EDIT: Even if it's obvious to me and others, I'm not particularly fond of using this the Running Tally threads as an April Fool's prank - people use this to make real money decisions, after all.
i think the joke is totally fine, the only way you dont realize its a joke is probably if your an Emu, even then you might get it
Pretty much. Anyone who actually spends $1280 for a Silumgar based on that post clearly has more money than sense. It's just such an absurdly high figure that no one could ever really take it seriously.
For the record, only one of the above numbers are random. The rest have specific value for a reason. Can anyone try and figure them out?
Well, Mirror Mockery is obviously a palindrome, and "69" is an oft-chosen humorous number.
Collected Company is an old number that was used to call collect.
Atarka's Command is either a call for help or a terrorist attack. Probably the second. I don't think it's a sports car.
Thunderbreak Regent is a 4/4 for 4, which is the same phonetic sound that many times in a row.
Dragon Whisperer is poking fun at your own misspelling of it in previous posts, and you seem to have forgotten the Shaman of Forgotten Ways.
Those are what I see.

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
Edit: obviously, 6.32 is not very close to 2 x pi, so it may be another transcendental number?
(Also added card tags.)
Narset: 2 Pi = 6.28. However, she has 6 starting loyalty, but was a 3/2 creature before.
Sidisi: In an alternate timeline, he was a 4 mana 3/3
Surrak: 5/4, but he was 6/6 in an alternate timeline
Some others I came up with:
Thunderbreak Regent: 4 mana 4/4
Zurgo was a 7/2 before.
Sarkhan: 4/4 Dragons, turns into a 4/4 dragon in a previous iteration, costs 5 mana.
Shaman of the Forgotten Ways has no price listed, because it was forgotten.
Dragon Whisperer lists "ER" as an error because it has been misspelled several times in the tally thus far.

Just dont make it a habit rai, or we will have to infract you ok ?

Those are what I see.
2. Mirror mockey is a palindrome.
3. Atarka's command is 911, although I don't get the joke.
4. dragon tempest: tempest release date.
5. damnable pack: X (10 in roman) in the mana cost.
6. Zurgo bellstriker used to be a 7/2 in Khans.
7. Narset transcendent: 6.32 as Tau (2xpi), a transcendant number.
8. Clone legion: hum, a legion is 5120 warrior... 5.16 is a bit off?
9. Thunderbreak regent: it's a 4/4 for 4.
10. Descent of dragons: makes 4/4s.
11: Sidisi, undead vizier: is a 4/6 (4/3+3).
12: shorecrasher elemental: can become a 4/2 for 1 mana?
13: some commands: chose 1 and 1 from 4?
14: summit prowler: he was printed twice as a vanilla 4/3.
15: hidden dragonslayer: is a 2/1.
16: haven of the spirit dragon: pay 2 mana to get back your 8th drop, ugin.
17: Surrak, the hunt caller: is a 5/4... but 66? Double punch?
18: collected company: take two, put 4 at bottom in any order?
Edit: obviously, 6.32 is not very close to 2 x pi, so it may be another transcendental number?
(Also added card tags.)
i can only assume it will be infracted because that is how MTGS do
Narset: 2 Pi = 6.28. However, she has 6 starting loyalty, but was a 3/2 creature before.
