I think Brimaz could fall even more as TCG Player has prices falling to around $23. I see many sitting on the shelf and in binders with little or no interest. The scry lands seem to be in bigger demand.
I will admit to net decking...many a times in standard, but I just did not have time. I only see Brimaz being OK in BW midrange, GW aggro, or mono white. Not the all star team there.
Pain seer was utilized in 3 decks out of the top 8 at the last SCG open. Could this see a bump in price as a result? Wonder if it will make it on the to the tally.
Been watching Ebay on Brimaz pricing. Many sit at $26 + shipping with little or no interest. $23-24 seems to be the hit price people snipe the bid on even though shipping is not included. I hope these go down more as I need 3-4. I just find $21-25 (total) to be pricey.

Nothing very interesting or valuable to see here:

The card's most recent move is on right. means no movement. is a card that wasn't on the list last update. This is the update's hottest mover. (#) is price in CND incl. shipping here.
There are now only 11 cards worth $3 or more, and therefore worth opening in a booster pack, as Flame-Wreathed Phoenix joined several other cards that have fallen off the tally.
Bored of the Gods, yet? Not too much to say. Brimaz has fallen from $33 to $25 in the past week or so. Demand for it seems to have fallen drastically, and supply is piling up on the market. To make a quick sale right now you have to price them at $20 or so. Kiora in 2nd place is solid at $20, while Xenagos has crashed from $16 to $12 now, a distant 3rd. And far below that is Courser at $9, the top rare right now. Ephara and Mogis both seem comfortable around $8, as the scryland rises up to that price level to meet them. Phenax has fallen just below that, with the other two scrylands at five bucks, and then Karametra hanging on just above the $3 cutoff. She might be destined for the junk bin soon.
I checked out Pain Seer but it's still a ways below $2, so a long ways off from the tally at the moment. Maybe it'll rise back on again if a major deck starts playing it regularly. No up-and-comers are making news at the moment.
Kiora, the Crashing Wave actually surprised me as she's been very resilient to drop at all after release. She was speculated to tank hard to less than $10 within a week or two after release. Obviously that hasn't happened and I just got tired of waiting for her to drop so I picked one up. Has she made a huge impact in standard? I've seen her in some Bant lists here and there but nothing ground breaking.
I didn't expect Brimaz, King of Oreskos to drop off so much but without a quality deck to break into he is going to remain a bit unwanted.
This of course keeps the price of Kiora, the Crashing Wave up and I think she might have reached her bottom.
I don't think the set is that poor but you just can't play any of the cards until rotation. This means you're only going to get 12 months out of the playable cards (if you can pick which ones they'll be).
On a side note I don't think Wizards actually wants this set to be over the top popular. I think they want to push people towards M15 to embrace the new card face.
I didn't expect Brimaz, King of Oreskos to drop off so much but without a quality deck to break into he is going to remain a bit unwanted.
This of course keeps the price of Kiora, the Crashing Wave up and I think she might have reached her bottom.
It took Jace, AoT a full 6 months to bottom out. Ral Zarek didn't really start hitting his bottom for 3-4 months. Liliana of the Veil didn't hit her low of $20 for 6 months. Sorin didn't initially hit his low until around July or so, which was nearly 6 months after his release. Tamiyo didn't hit her floor until October, or about 5 months after release.
Point is, I doubt we've hit Kiora's floor. She certainly hasn't tanked, but she's only been legal for a month. Given that even the most popular Standard planeswalkers have all dipped heavily, I don't really see her not getting lower in 3 months time. And then she'll likely go back up, particularly if UG finds a good deck in standard.

You raise a good point. Allow me add/clarify that. Born of the Gods is a smaller set thus folks trying collect their chase cards can take a little longer. With Innistrad we had MORE supply for a long time thus the chase cards dropped off a little faster. Same goes for Return to Ravnica. Those were big sets. Born of the Gods is a lithe set and not many are opening packs from it. There really is not much that has good value for the top decks. DragonMaze had VoR and that card stayed high for a great while. Reason was more decks could run it, Not legendary, low converted mana cost, and it's playable in Modern+Standard. With Born of the Gods we have 3 good chase cards that you want 4 of.
Brimaz- Started high valued, Legendary, Not seen in many decks, might (?) be playable in Modern, 3 cmc, mythic>Verdict>Dropping in value
Kiora- Started high valued, Legendary, Only great in standard, 4 cmc, Mythic, Seen some play (?), New Plainswalker Colors>Unknown cause of Standard prospects, but will go down if not used as a 4 of soon.
CoK- rare, Used in many decks, Started at low value, 3 cmc, big butt, enables land drops, a key piece for midrange decks, and already seeing play in Modern.
I think by next month Brimaz will have dropped to $18-20 if he does not find a top deck spot in 4 quantity. There so many on ebay and TCG player that are not selling. I eventually see him going to $12-15 and even less if Modern does not use him. He could jump back up if the next rotation gives more whit weenie, but we have another Theros set coming before RTR leaves us.
Kiora should go to $18 soon if a top deck does not use 3-4 of her soon. If burn comes back; she should dive even more. Folks have been looking for a UG plainswalker for a long time, but they generally need only 1. Sellers are gouging right now to get their return on a crappy block. Most will say it's a good block, but they are just selling the story to move their sales. EDIT- Kiora can be had for $16 on TCG player. She is going down.
CoK is an all star in my view. I knew he was going to be a supper buy as his starting price (that I saw) of $1.99. So many want him for multiple formats. That spells good for investors plus he survives most burn spells. A side bonus is that he is an enchantment/creature for Goyf to feed on. I see him slowly ticking up as time goes on to $15.
Overall this is astounding. I don't think Dragon's Maze had this low value even at this point.
I hate to say it but these low prices are enticing me to want to buy it up. Look at past sets that had initial low value and how the value of their cards took off once they were out of the Standard scene. (I doubt we'll see a Jace-like calibre card emerge from this set any time soon like in Worldwake but anything can happen).

I have to assume you're joking! The set has only been out 5 weeks, and you know that no set has reached its bottom in 5 weeks. It takes at least a couple months for sets to hit their point where you want to buy them at their cheapest. If you think prices are cheap now, just wait.
Also, you mention "past sets that had initial low value and how the value of their cards took off once they were out of Standard". Which sets are you referring to? Rise of the Eldrazi comes to mind, but not much else. If all horrible sets become amazing valuable sets once they rotate, people would have picked up on that "rule" by now, and all horrible sets would be sought after like hotcakes, and therefore, would actually be very valuable. But that's just now how things go. Horrible sets end up staying horrible, unless something happens like with the explosion of the Eldrazi cards after RoE's rotation. I don't think either Dragon's Maze or Born of the Gods are going to be investor's dreams anytime soon. If you need Bored cards for decks, wait a month or two for the prices to come down further and get them then.

Since the regular cards are unexciting, anyone want to take a shot at the foils? I've been trying to pick up the gods in foil for a reasonable price, and I have to say that I haven't see it yet. I was expecting the hype to have died down a bit, but they're still overpriced IMO. I'd be curious to see a foil "running tally", maybe with a higher cutoff than $3.

Aside from the rather condescending tone of your reply, there are a few sets of late that have experienced a somewhat lull in value until their respective rotation. The Standard environment is much different than that of Modern or Legacy, so obviously that's going to dictate a lot of a set's initial value until it's had a chance to truly live post-Standard. People don't know what future sets will bring so it's hard to determine what will be good in those low-value sets.
A classic example is Worldwake. Jace, the Mindsculptor notwithstanding, the set experienced lacklustre value only up until maybe a year ago when cards like SFM (which had a small surge before it rotated IIRC) and Celestial Colonade, among others, have risen significantly. Then there's Mirrodin Besieged. Not too hot during and after its release, the set's value fluctuated but had a low value overall save for a few cards here and there. Even after New Phyrexia was released prices didn't do much while it was in Standard. Now look at how much its value has taken off. It's not fair to use Dragon's Maze because it's still legal. Once RTR rotates-- plus whatever else Huey block brings to the fold--then we can properly use that as an example.
For your reference, more than just the eldrazi cards (Emrakul, the Aeons Torn for example) have risen post-rotation of Rise of the Eldrazi: Splinter Twin, All is Dust, It That Betrays, Khalni Hydra, Linvala, Nirkana Revenant and many more. ROE wasn't seen as a good value set at the time it was legal. No one really expected it to take off to the extent that it has when it was Standard legal. (To be fair, formats like EDH didn't exist at the time so that probably affects it too).
So, yes, I think we're at the bottom of the barrel for Born of the Gods, at least for the moment. We're in the period between releases now. Until Journey into Nyx cards begin to be known and the set is released then I expect prices to stay low. I believe what happens after that will determine its "permanent" value until rotation in the final quarter of 2015.

I dunno man, I think you've got some fuzzy memory going on. New Phyrexia was always a pretty good value while it was in standard, Besieged WAS the weaker of the sets in that block, but only in comparison to how valuable the other two were. It was nowhere near as bad as DGM is or BNG is likely to be. When a set is legal in standard, and still in print, it has a ceiling on it's value. If the individual cards are all very high, more and more product gets opened to flood the market and bring prices down. It's rare that you get a set where the average price of the singles in a box is significantly higher then the price of the box itself. So, saying New Phyrexia wasn't a good 'value' when you could sell the singles for more then the box, especially when you added up the valuable uncommons like mental misstep, is incorrect. That was actually one of the best value sets in Standard in awhile. I remember considering buying as many boxes as I could get ahold of and cracking them for re-sell.
Stoneforge was a very hot card in standard, then tanked after being banned btw.
Rise was also weak, but again not nearly as weak. It's set value completely tanked after rotation and then the eldrazi blew up. It never bottomed out while legal in standard. Actually, none of these sets did.
If you want to make a case for buying into them after they rotate in the hopes that a few cards will catch on in modern/legacy, then I'd agree that's a reasonable strategy. Little hard to predict, but fair enough.
IF you don't want to use dragonmaze, take a look at dark ascension. It was more like the DGM or BotG butwas considered weak on value. Sorin started high but spiraled down throughout standard, Huntmaster picked up steam later in its life but the value went high because the set was poorly opened. And now after rotation it looks way worse. Gravecrawler got up to $8 in standard and will eventually get there again, but what else? Huntmaster may spike again some day but the set value will probably always be crap.
In the long run I see Born shaping up a lot like Dark Ascension, with dragonmaze only propped up by the rise of shocklands over time.

As expected, the value of the set continues dropping:

2) Kiora the Crashing Wave (20) / / / / / /

There are now only 10 cards worth $3 or more, and therefore worth opening in a booster pack, as Karametra God of Harvests dropped off the tally.
Brimaz fell further, below $25 for the first time. There are hundreds of copies on eBay, more added all the time - demand is very low and the price is adjusting to compensate. Kiora is the opposite, very few copies around, and when new sets are added they're snapped up quickly unless they're priced quite high. The price remains above $20 and looks soon to be competing with Brimaz for top spot. Courser is still top rare and moves up to take 3rd place in the set as it ties the unwanted Xenagos just below ten bucks. Mogis holds strong just below them, with Ephara cooling by a dollar, letting it fall below the Temple at $8. Phenax is cooling further, now down to $6, just ahead of the other two Temples. As mentioned, Karametra fell below $3 and may not be seen on the tally again, as it hits "junk mythic" status along with the Phoenix, Chromanticore, and Champion of Stray Souls.
Of note, uncommon values are falling quickly, suppressed by all the product now being opened (and redeemed). Spirit of the Labyrinth has fallen from nearly $10 down to $2 now, a really hated and unwanted rare across the board. I haven't noticed any "up and comer" surprises amongst the lower valued cards, but please post and let the rest of us know if you hear about or see a Born card to watch. We can hope, anyway.
Since the regular cards are unexciting, anyone want to take a shot at the foils? I've been trying to pick up the gods in foil for a reasonable price, and I have to say that I haven't see it yet. Foils take longer to settle than regular cards, as so much of the supply of foils is driven by MTGO redemption which I believe has only just come online.
The dealers that redeem, split and sell 200+ foil sets have a massive impact on Ebay prices for foils.
Expect the value of a foil Brimaz or foil Kiora to fall 30% in the next couple of weeks as a result.
(previous tallies are located in the following posts: 1, 4, 24, 33, 35, 51, 87, 98)
A couple high value rares keep the set barely afloat:
1) Brimaz King of Oreskos (25) / / / / / / /
2) Kiora the Crashing Wave (20) / / / / / / /
3) Temple of Enlightenment(9) / / / / / / /

5) Xenagos God of Revels (8) / / / / / / /
6) Mogis God of Slaughter (7) / / / / / / /
7) Ephara God of the Polis (6.5) / / / / / / /
8) Phenax God of Deception (6.5) / / / / / / /
9) Temple of Plenty (6) / / / / / / /
10) Temple of Malice (5.5) / / / / / / /
11) Herald of Torment (3)

There are once again 11 cards worth $3 or more, and therefore worth opening in a booster pack, as Herald of Torment makes an appearance on the tally.
There's no doubt the set was a stinker, but to be fair there are a few redeeming points right now. One, there are two high value rares holding some value around the nine dollar mark. Two, there are a few rares just off the tally that aren't bad, and Herald of Torment crested the three dollar point this update. Three, Brimaz seems to have bottomed out at 24 for now, and Kiora has been stable at 20. And four, the scrylands are all very in demand, also boosting box value. I'll update again once Journey releases and likely causes some metagame shifts.
I personally feel the eidolon of countless battles and hero of iroas will gain in value with the release of jounrey, out of interest where would you value them at atm?
My post contains a link to the answer to your question
But in short, they're the rares I mentioned when I said that some rares were sitting just below the $3 cutoff. Both those cards have been hovering around 2.5 for a couple months now. I like them both, but particularly see the Hero of Iroas as a card that could remain valuable for the long term, as casual players enjoy making decks around such creatures, and there really isn't anything else out there that does the same thing.

Elspeth and Jhoira rock my world.
In the long run I see Born shaping up a lot like Dark Ascension, with dragonmaze only propped up by the rise of shocklands over time.
As expected, the value of the set continues dropping:

A couple high value rares keep the set barely afloat:
1) Brimaz King of Oreskos (25) / / / / / / /
2) Kiora the Crashing Wave (20) / / / / / / /
3) Temple of Enlightenment (9) / / / / / / /
4) Courser of Kruphix (8.5) / / / / / / /
