Sure. Print MM2 next summer. Print it with about 4x the print run they did MM1.
I think a better move would be to reprint MM1 and add MM2. That way, it would fit the whole drafting feature that MM was designed with and allots more spaces for reprints in MM2. They also learned from MM about how much to print so that it won't crash the market but also won't be so rare that people will price gouge them too. The only issue for them would be designing the set itself which having an MM2-MM2-MM1 style draft would solve
The card I have been targeting is nighthowler. I was finding them everywhere in 4 for a dollar bins. and with delve returning, I could see it making some gains in a graveyard based deck.
Nighthowler wants cards in the graveyard, and delve removes cards from the graveyard. How is there any synergy between them?
The return of delve brings cards with it that put cards in the graveyard that directly help nighthowler. Cards that have delve wont help him, but the cards that assist delve will.
There's already a very decent self-mill engine in satyr wayfinder + commune with the gods. Personally, I'm much more interested in Whip of Erebos as a spec target. If nighthowler finds a deck, or reanimator finds a deck, both lists will end up using Whip.
I think he is referring to the card in Theros that fits the Nightveil Specter profile - gets a lot better on rotation, and is poised to move from near-bulk to Standard staple (and the associated price bump associated).
my best guess would be Ashen Rider as it is a mythic, see's play in legacy SB vs Sneak and Show, and with so much reanimator themes coming I feel it will go up a lot if it see's any play.
Foil Theros Thoughtseize seems to have increased from ~$41 last night to $76 today (lowest prices, not average prices). Presumably driven by spoiler excitement in Standard, but since foils are more commonly played in Modern/Legacy, I thought I'd post it here instead.

I was hoping that foil thoughtseizes would stay around $50 for another month but too late. I don't think this is a final price though, I believe in a couple weeks you should be able to grab them for around $50.
I was already anticipating Thoughtseize to rise as Allied Fetchlands enter Standard and Modern. Better manafixing will drive demand in it's two biggest formats.
Average TCG price on Thoughtseize has been slowly making gains for the past 30 days. Highest its been since it's initial drop from release.
Thoughtseize is positioned very well at it's current power-level and I don't anticipate WOTC will print a better Turn 1 disruption.
All-in-all this will probably serve to be a very smart buyout. I don't think ThoughtseizeFoil can come all the way back to $50. More likely it will settle at $70 for the time being.
The Rack is seeing some action now. Antiquities versions are jumping more than time shifted versions. This has been in the works somewhat slowly. This is likely the 8-rack effect. In a similar vein, I also note that Blackmail is increasing in price. I have presumed that this is somehow related to Waste Not being printed. Blackmail allows you some flexibility in what to get with Waste not effect which balances the fact that your opponent will be hiding their best card.
Antiquities Tron also creeping up. I suspect it will only do so until the prices double. The new border tron lands are cool because they satisfy the kid in me that likes all my cards to be foil and have the same border. The adult in me likes the diversity of art and the nostalgic old borders in the antiquities version. The appropriate recipe here would be a set of judge foil promos depicting all the original 12 arts in the new border!!

If they print them that way, with the original Antiquities expansion symbol, I will buy them all. ALL. OF. THEM.
What's with all the talk of new border Tron lands? Like, are you referring to the 8th/9th edition ones, or the Post M15 border? And if Post m15, where were they spoiled?

There was a recent article on MTGprice that was bearish on Liliana of the Veil ($68 TCG mid). It proposed that she was likely to be reprinted in M16 or Modern Masters 2, and that her value was unlikely to climb further. I disagree, and I think she could easily hit a price target of $80. Here's why I think that:
1) While the existence of MM2 has yet to be verified, the existing chase mythics from MM1 (Goyf, Bob, Clique) are all higher in value than they were before MM1 was printed. You may see a 25% drop in July 2015 (if MM2 comes out then), but by December 2015, I expect to see her no lower and probably higher than she was before the set. While the MM2 print run will probably be higher, the MM1 print run was really small and the playerbase is larger than it was in 2013, with Theros being bigger than Return to Ravnica.
2) Wizards tends not to reprint nonland chase Modern/Legacy mythics/rares in Standard-legal sets. We got shocks, fetches, and Mutavaults, but no Goyfs, Bobs, Cliques, or any nonland $50+ cards outside of a few scarcity reprints like the Portal 3 Kingdoms stuff in Commander 201X sets, really. This is consistent with Mark Rosewater's stated goal of keeping mana bases affordable.
I'm holding Liliana and you should be too.

These days, some wizards are finding they have a little too much deck left at the end of their $$$.

I'm holding Liliana and you should be too.
But Liliana was going to be in M15 apprantly. They changed their mind due to not wanting to improve mono black anymore.
Also Thoughtseize was definitely more than $50.
If they wanted Liliana of the Veil for M15 but couldn't print her due to power level concerns, odds are she won't make it into M16 either. She's safe unless there's an MM2, at which point she'd likely just dip down for a while then go back up over time.
Her power level wasn't too high. She was perfect. Is she too high now, because of the power level in Standard? Yes. Until power level in Standard rises again, I wouldn't expect her reprint in the Standard format.
Why couldn't she be in M16? The issue was the strength of mono black which is taking a few hits from the powerful cards rotating with RTR block. They could likely print her safely knowing she'll only be legal alongside Theros block for a few months. She was fine in standard.

Depending on how much self-mill you can manage, "delve away the non-creature cards and leave the creatures for Nighthowler" could be perfectly viable.

I would (and did) pick up the DoTP ones, personally. Now if we could only get a non-FTV reprint of Black Vise.
Don't get me wrong..I love Stuffy as much as the next guy. These are just a breath of fresh air--those old ones have been reprinted SO many times now.
