With the new legends rule it basically gives you the ability to fetch any white shock when you play a second one. Not bad for decks running white. I'd guess that's why it's seeing more love.

The new rule means that you don't lose tempo by playing the second one.
Before the rule change:
Play 2nd copy, both copies die and you get two lands tapped. (Can't tap second land for mana before Legend rule.)
After the rule change:
Play 2nd copy, first copy dies and you get 1 land tapped. (Can tap second land for mana, as it stays on field.)

So now a double Flagstones draw gives you WW on turn 2, whereas before this was not possible. The card has become demonstrably better, so the price increase seems reasonable. Of course, it never saw a lot of play anyway.
Just as they over inflated and pretty much milked out Legacy into oblivion you can bet they will not change their ethics and trends now...I highly recommend getting your Modern staples now and keep a grip on them while your/our only true contention is Ebay and small site speculators (Up/Down market). Once SCG gets their hooves into Modern with full authority the market destruction that Vintage (killed) and Legacy (on life support) has endured will follow suite...this is a fact (or a guarantee for a few that truly don't understand the market etc).
I'm still wondering if I should pick up Voice of Resurgence now or wait for a tad bit longer, but knowing the market and what's surely to come that wait won't be much longer I suppose.

Let's not turn this into SCG bashing. If you don't have anything to say about gainers, please don't post SBC

SCG never killed Vintage, and Legacy looks pretty healthy to me according to their Open attendance. Not to sound like the SCG defense force, but SCG hosted the Modern GP and it was the highest attended GP of all time. I'm sure you understand that SCG will set prices only as high as consumers will tolerate.
Legacy Attendance numbers courtesy of lordofthepit23. Looks like growth to me.
As far as the Modern on Sunday announcement goes, on its own I doubt it would have impacted prices too much. Combined with Modern season starting though you can bet on all the usual staples swelling. There haven't been many new cards that impact Modern decks so I don't think there'll be any big spikes/new decks. The new M15 bounce spell might seem some play in Modern Storm, but I don't think most Modern Storm hate is permanent based (counters/discard). Still waiting for Hatebears.dec to take off though.
Liliana of the Veil buylist continues to decline in the lead up to M15. Now $35 on Channel Fireball. Are they hedging against a reprint? The card is absolutely fine in Standard and seems like the type of card Wizards would love to get a freebie Modern reprint by another mythic printing in Standard.

They probably bought enough at the previous price to satisify demand. One time I buylisted Obzedats to them for $13 credit each, then the next day my friend buylisted his and he got less (before grading).

Bitterblossom was the same way. A couple days before it was slated to be unbanned in Modern, the card shot up like crazy and was bought out on TCGPlayer. Whether that was a gamble or insider information, you can never know for sure.
I think it's highly unlikely that Liliana OTV gets reprinted in a core set. The Core Set is aimed more at getting new players into the game, and it's just not a "new player" card. Not splashy, but deceptively powerful.
Also, I think the "veil" was a plot line specific to Innistrad, which they may not want in the Core Set for flavor reasons.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.

On the flipside, I believe this is actually lending itself to the speculation, as Garruk, whom Liliana cursed as part of that plot line, is now the face of Magic 2015 as his cursed self, there is a Chain Veil playmat being released, etc etc.

Stole my thunder you son of a....
Oh well.
Recently spoiled card called In Garruk's wake which is a black wrath pretty much all but confirming either a mono b garruk or at least a B/G garruk which strengthens your theory even more.
I'm curious to this graph...is it based of SCG housing events? (because there's a greater impact then just their sanctions).
The impact/'s they have created has without question (prices) affected the format as a hole, to deny the obvious based off a graph of their tournaments would be completely foolish...when the prices of vintage staples blew through the roof mage's dropped out of the format (and most shops went from allowing 10 proxies to 55 proxies to NO events at all based off the absolute chaos those games created).
Hey I'm just one guy that only a handful of sound businessmen/women listen to, so far my rants have been pretty accurate over the last 6 years.
Time will revisit this conversation, and my point still stands...get your Modern staples now before the trend blows the roof off Modern while you can (only mass reprints will stop their tornado paths).
My comments are in conjunction with a member quoting me, it's interesting how I get all the warnings because someone feels one mans opinion about SCG's is the thorn (as it does have merit with regards to MODERN CARDBOARD GAINERS), these facts are what they are...I didn't paint a picture that didn't exist before my comments.
Which brings me back to Voice of Resurgence, just how great is that card in modern? And how much will he continue to rise in value being used in Pod/Junk builds (he's clearly a gainer, so that should be noted and highlighted again in my post, just a heads up to the Moderator).

Tendo Ice Bridge in the weekly winners at MTGStocks.com (from sub-2.00$ in last january to 4.50$ and still going up, now). Looks like it's a gainer after all!
EDIT: According to MTGStocks, the rise would likely be caused by EDH play rather than modern play. Well. Its also stated that there's been a buyout recently, so price might not be sustainable. Still...

I don't follow the storylines, but based on the article on DailyMTG today, it seems like they have an arc in place for Garruk and Liliana. It just seems odd, to me anyway, to further the plot line by creating a new garruk yet not a new Liliana.
I think the buy price is down simply because Jund is banned and G/B is falling out of favor.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
I suspect this is due to mainly to Martyr Proc or Modern Death and Taxes?
It seems Born of the Gods (Brimaz, King of Oreskos) had a positive impact on price.
