Modern is really blowing up! Any card, MD or SB in a popular decks has just taken off in price. For better or worse, this is where the money in the game is right now. More money to be made/lost but mainly made if you have foresight and the balls then in Legacy.
Keep in mind that some of this is likely short term gains, but still. WOW.
Are there even any "cheap" decks left? I mean it wasn't that long ago that splinter twin was $3-4

It's been like this pretty much since Modern became a thing. 2 years ago Tron was less than $300 as was Living end. I've been jumping on cheap decks hoping they go up and have had decent success so far.
How high do you guys think the WW manlands will reach? They are all underpriced IMO especially Wildwood and Ravine. They aren't a likely reprint and are quite cozy in their respective modern decks.
How is it hard to believe? This land has been played with strong numbers since the format was conceived...4 deep (floaters slam 3), I'm far from shocked as it deserves more of that Mutavault reflection/attention seeing its the tier manland of Modern (any wins because of this card? rhetorical).
But if I recall correctly this was a topic I brought up a few months before our move to the new site, $25-40 sounds about right seeing its applications and results in the format, many just lost their chances to heed the price warnings then (paying now though as you HAVE TO RUN THEM AS A TRUE 3-4 SLOT)....man it pays to be on the ball.

I've had a set of each WW man-lands since the release believing they would go up and are great. I just couldn't believe they were that cheap for as long as they were.
Someone else already mentioned it but Through the Breach continues to spike. $4-$5 a week ago, now it's $8-$10. Where does it stop?
Through the Breach seems to have stabilized in the $9.50-$11 range for sell price, but there aren't many buyers (at least on eBay) willing to pay more than $8-$9. Has the surge of interest in the card dried up?
The man-lands are one of my top picks to be featured in the next commander decks. They are certainly becoming high enough profile for it. I picked up a 1 of set for $5 2 years ago. I thought they were cheap then, but now they seem a little overheated. But then again wizards can't reprint lands fast enough to keep up with demand.
bolt promo textless card just shot up over the weekend i think. was 29.99 on SCG, now its out of stock at 39.99. tcgplayer has them for 60-70. i bought one just in time for my deck for 25 on ebay. so i think its a gainer
When you guys search for the textless player rewards Lightning Bolts, what do you type into ebay? I usually search for player rewards Lightning Bolt and only find a few.
Speaking of Celestial Colonnade, I have 4 foil "regular" versions. Should I dump them now or do you guys think they will continue to rise? Thanks in advance.

Foil Lightning Bolt.
It'a always better to get too many results than too few. You can add some NOTs to your search, but you never know what kind of text sellers are going to put in their descriptions (for example, if you added -deck -series, you'd miss out on something that included this: "This is the real deal, looks much better than the Premium Deck Series version!"). Use software filters as little as possible and use hardware filters (your eyes) as much as possible. You can visually skip past all the M10, M11, and PDS bolts pretty quickly.

Anyone else notice that Garruk Wildspeaker has been climbing? As a whole, the Lorwyn 5 walkers have been steadily climbing over the pass few sets even though they rarely see play in Modern. Maybe I should have posted this in Commander.
Was checking on foil prices for cards and ran across Spell Pierce the foil version of which is now up to $70+..... When the heck did that happen? It must have been somewhat recently because I had the price written down from about a month ago at $12 or so for the foil. That's quite the crazy increase, especially for a semi-recent common foil (even if it is likely insanely popular in general).

My guess is that someone bought a bunch of them. A month ago, I was looking for some and they were around $28+. I felt like that was too much and would have pulled the trigger if it was sub $20. Now I'm a sad panda.

Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)

yeah, i was in the market for foil pierces and remands for a while (for all the pimp UR delver). they were both around 20ish to 25ish. guess that dream is over. i'll just wipe my tears with my MPR cryptics..
but really, its one of the most played cards in legacy U based tempo, but i would have guessed there was a huge supply of them. it also hurts that its one of the last good counters they've printed in a standard set.

OMG foil Stony Silence has FINALLY taken off. It is now 8-10+.
Stirring Wildwood is up from ~$1.50 a few months ago to well over $3.
Rain of Gore foil is listed @ $20 when they were $3 just a couple of months ago.
