Opal is still readily available at 50-60/the price it spiked to a few weeks ago. No buyout in progress either.
No idea why trickbind would move. Shadow of doubt is the card that moved due to pod and fetchlands and such as it is superior to trickbind in modern outside of it costing UU but cantripping gives it tons more upside over trickbind.
As for spellskite, wouldn't surprise me to see it hit $40 during modern PTQ season. So many decks run it, it's from a 3rd set, it's playable in legacy...all signs point upwards.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
Cards to consider in light of movement of other cards.
Ghostfire- kills Etched Champion for red(x) decks. Sudden Shock- kills Kikki Jikki, any splinter twin combo creatures, Melira, and Sack outlets. Linvala, Keeper of Silence- works better than teeg if not running hate bears Kataki, War's Wage- Since Robots/affinity are gaining in popularity; why not. In was in a small set, but reprinted in MM. Still has to be a limited supply. Maybe. Stony Silence- Shut up Mox Opal. Phyrexian Revoker- pithing needle on a creature. Doran, the Siege Tower- makes Cranial plating a joke. Ranger of Eos- I have not seen one on the shelf in stores I go to in a long while. Restoration Angel- Kiiki Pod used 4, and that should be a sign. Blood Moon- I know there are many out there, but playing one can just win the game. Another card getting scarce and folks want 4. Anger of the Gods- I know it is in a current set heavily opened, but look how some modern decks are using it. Can really hurt Pod decks. Sudden Death- Mono blacks means of stopping Kikki Jikki without getting countered or out played. Damping Matrix- Stops pod, Twin, Kikki-Jikki, and some artifacts. Orzhov Pontiff- Robots/affinity, and little stuff. Picking up in popularity and Guildpact was not widely opened. Back to Nature- Boggles. Phyrexian Metamorph- Great in the Mirror if facing Kikki Pod and you are missing a win piece. Blackmail- better than you would think as you can makes them discard a land. Stopping certain decks from getting to 4 lands can be game changing. A possible alternative if Inquisition of Kozlek is not available. Intimidation Bolt- an idea for slowing down Robots/Affinity and aggro decks. Kill a dude and stay alive.
Lastly, pieces for Merfolk. I am shocked at the prices of uncommons from Lowryn block.
I have owned these cards for a while and am a collector, not a business. With Robots/affinity, Pod, and Twin on the rise, answers to these issues not in the spotlight might be worth getting before price increases or the mass takes notice.
Well lightning bolt are up across the boards with the judge foil $150 both TCG and SCG and the MPR version close to $30 on TCG and $35 on SCG for nm copies. I would expect nm copies of the foils to command a higher premium due to the card being the most played in modern and played in every format where its legal in due to mass use but we'll see.

Snip
Not to be a total jerk but a lot of your ideas are pure nonsense, if you think about them for more than 5 seconds. Also suggesting cards that are strictly inferior to other cards already in the format is just nonsense as well.
Some of your ideas are valid but you could probably cut that list in half at least.
Not to be upset from having my list called nonsense (that's fine), they are ideas for folks to look at for picking up cards BEFORE they price spike. Some could be inferior, but certain decks may want them. Also, players that don't have the funds or access to certain high value cards might find the list helpful. So yeah you are coming off as what you called yourself very strong and it is you who put yourself there. So what help are you here besides trolling?
A few had talked about many folks buying cards and saying that they think said cards will go up or report a slight gain for pushing profit. That's fine, but it does not help with what we already know. The meta is shifting to Robots/affinity, Pod/kikki jikki, and Twin, thus folks will be looking for answers to the new tier 1 decks. Just trying to help.
It does more then that. Stops Arcbound Ravager activated ability, stops artifact lands, any equipment. The card just hoses the deck completely, I really wish Null Rod wasnt on the RL so it could enter the modern pool.
Also, what about Hurkyl's Recall? Foil Xth ver. and Antiquities ver. could go up?
Ok to be more constructive here are some quick thoughts, though i don't think many people need these things spelled out.
Ghostfire will see zero play, if you want colourless solutions in red you already have pyrite spellbomb, and for just one more mana you have shatterstorm. 3 mana for 3 damage is just not a realistic return on investment in modern, especially if you are just doing it for such narrow reasons in a colour that is more equipped to deal with artifacts than many others.
Intimidation bolt. I can't possibly fathom why you would ever run this over lightning helix against a larger field. Helix is cheaper and has an arguably better anti aggro effect and again a 3 mana burn spell that doesnt' go to the face is just not reasonable to run in this format.
Linvala is already super expensive, i doubt there is much more ceiling for it to climb higher, and even if it does, is moving in on a $40 dollar card really realistic for investment?
I guess i just think giving random advice that you yourself admit might not be helpful or good is a detrimental thing. Giving advice isn't an inherently good thing or productive especially if it is terrible advice that doesn't make any sense. Telling newer or less experienced players to go out and buy ghostflames isn't a good thing it's a terrible thing to do.

Do you need me to bow to you as well?
@urweak- I forgot about Hurkyl's Recall. Unfortunately, there are way to many from multiple sets. The Black border ones are the money makers though. Stony Silence is indeed great at control Affinity. I just get a kick out of playing turn 2 when they have very few land and are relying on Mox Opal.
You asked me to not troll (not my intention) so i posted something more constructive and you think i'm insulting you now.
My only point was that bad and poorly thought out advice shouldn't just be thrown around thinking it's a good thing, especially when you are giving financial advice, and your list was self admittedly sketchy.
Whatever, lets move on.
Anyone have any idea why Delver foils have spiked recently? I think it was way too low for way too long, but a 14$ jump is pretty crazy was it for any particular reason?

Yeah but delver has been Tier 1 in Legacy since it was printed and that has never changed, and yet the price for foils was about $5 for 2.5 years, even when it was seeing heavy play in Standard.

Supply and Demand. As time passes, the supply on the market continues to dwindle now that no more are really being added to the market, so its inevitable that it would continue to rise over time. Just because a card is stable for a while, doesn't mean that the card cannot eventually begin to rise or spike suddenly due to supply getting low and people worrying that they might not be able to get theirs at a decent price causing people to rush in to grab their foils for a decent price while they still can, thusly causing a jump in the price even if the deck may not have seen a significant rise in popularity over that time. Inevitably the vast majority of players (legacy/modern included) don't use foils. Many people consider getting foils for their decks but often sit on the sidelines for a while, especially while prices are stable and focus on other things, that pent up demand eventually gets unleashed when the price starts to rise, causing a chain reaction, and, well, here we are.
(Sorry for the overly long explanation, just trying to be thorough).
I think Huntmaster is another to watch. Transform cards were pretty meh except for Delver and Huntmaster and I doubt we'll see them again anytime soon. I think the foils are pretty decent spec targets.

Garruk Relentless sees some Legacy play in Maverick and Nic Fit, so there's one other Transform card that does see some play, though it's usually 1-2 copies, not always a 4-of like Delver is.

I could see for the foils at least. Just because I know people like the neat double-sided foulness of them. Curious though of what decks in modern are running huntmaster at the moment? Card seems to get brought up often enough but I wasn't sure how much use in modern it was seeing.
From what I can tell, it's basically nil as far as Modern play - I think that the BG/x decks are moving to Obliterator Rock in the lack of Deathrite Shaman, and the remaining Jund builds would generally prefer Olivia Voldaren for evasion and more consistent removal.

the 10th foil is already an easy $40-50 and they've all been going up. I can see another jump higher if Affinity becomes more popular than it already is (not sure how that's possible).

Yeah the 10th foil is wicked expensive (though I think its the only foil version of the card isn't it?). Given its current insanely high price tag though I'm just not sure how much higher it could really go.
And whew, just checked the non-foil black bordered copies and good grief. The antiquities version is up around $20 for NM copies, and the 10th edition version is around $10 shipped for NM copies. Guess I didn't expect quite that much of a rise. Not really sure how much higher those can go either, but I suppose for being the only black bordered copies and being in rather limited supply (vs the ton of white bordered copies out there)... Guess I'll be keeping an eye on that a bit more.
