just want to throw this out there for people's opinions i just bought a couple of copy enchantments at a dollar per. copy enchantment seems like could be good pickup right now. i definitely see more uses for it now with an enchantment block started. also i feel glittering wish is a solid choice to pick up right now too. what do people think?
also just looked SCG is sold out of copy enchantment but plenty on tcgplayer
It seems solid. While I'm let down with the selection of solid, cheap globals in Theros (Rest in Peace, Blind Obedience), I've got hope they'll spice up the second and third acts with them - and I could see this getting reprinted in those sets or the upcoming commander product.
River of Tears is an awful card IMHO. You can't always control what color it makes. This makes it pretty bad to me.

Yeah, the land choices in that Zur deck are a little strange. Scrylands? And River? Over shocks? When you're running fetches? Is the lifegain that relevant? That's the only thing I can think of.
I bought 6x Zurs this morning. I know I'm not the only one: this deck looks sweet.
Where on earth did a Zur deck do well outside of EDH?
Modern on MODO. The list looks pretty sweet, I would check it out before bashing it. I haven't seen it in action, but it looks like it disrupts until you die from Geist or Zur w/ a Steel of Godhead.

Do you have a link to the list? I'm pretty interested.
I don't see Zur exploding in price but I could definitely see it going up a few dollars.
I dont. it does really well against jund (suprisingly) which is why its winning, but I dont rexpect that trend to last long. Junds the top dog, but wizards is active in (hopefully unbanning...) and printing answers.
Threads does some good work against jund, I've used it quite often to steal a goyf, if it continues to see play I can see it slowly going up over time but I don't see it shooting up.

River was fine when what you needed was a land that cast Thoughtseize or Bitterblossom on your turn and Cryptic Command or Mistbind Clique on your opponent's turn. It does precisely that.
If your deck is a combination of black sorceries and blue instants or flash creatures, have at it, seems reasonable. I've played with it in UB Faeries and you rarely get screwed by it.
But that isn't a deck in Modern, and if it were there would still be many other decent mana-fixing options, so I don't see an upside. The Future Sight lands that have spiked like crazy all have something OTHER than producing mana on their side. Grove (still in Legacy) and Canopy do something other land choices can't do. River of Tears is good mana-fixing for certain UB decks, but that's all it ever will be, and it can't spike in price without more than that.
Phyrexian Obliterator is going up lately, a week ago I could have picked up 2 more at 10-12 Euros to complete my set, this week I could sell my 2 for 16-17 each currently.
I think he might be due to rise more, he and geralfs offer some good combos in modern with the new Devotion cards -> Gray Merchant, Nykthos.
His devotion score is high for what he does. Not many decks can handle it if they lack removal in deck or hand.
I wanted one for mono-black devotion EDH, but after testing, I saw he's either just unblockable or a great blocker in that format. Get your group to let you run B.F.M. instead for devotion.
Cheers

Secrome Coast and River of Tears seems fairly good picks as well.
Multiplayer Decks- Memnarch - Animar, Soul of Elements - Zur, the Enchanter - Atraxa, Praetors' Voice - Food Chain Tazri - Teysa Karlov
Modern BUMill and Bant Spirits.
