I was hoping to compile a list of cards that risk losing a lot in the event of a reprint - now that we know M25.
I'll start with
Phyrexian Altar
Grim Tutor
Imperial Seal
Dark Confidant
Snapcaster Mage
Force of Will
Food Chain
Grave Pact
Back to Basics
Cabal Coffers
Mana Echoes
Seedborn Muse
Mana Crypt
"Restriction breeds creativity." - Sheldon Menery on EDH / Commander in Magic: The Gathering
"Cancel Culture is the real reason why everyone's not allowed to have nice things anymore." - Anonymous
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" - Mark 8:36
"Most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution." - Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
"Every life decision is always a risk / reward proposition." - Sanjay Gupta
Don't forget that we get a Core Set early this year as well. I wouldn't expect to see too many Modern powerhouses show up, but something like Seedborn Muse or Prismatic Omen or Scapeshift could make an appearance. Something that's either an EDH plant or a Modern "build around" card that does very little without support.

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
The safest thing to buy would be the thing that has just been reprinted/announced. These are likely going g to be at a low point price-wise, anc are the least likely to be reprinted again in the next year or so.
The cards you guys listed are perhaps the most "due" for a reprint (and a price plunge), and the least safe to buy or hold.
Yeah - safe for now was what I was stressing. Obviously anything not on the RL is at risk.
My primary goal was to begin to plan how to transition some of the excess copies of these cards from the 10 EDH decks I've got together. I've gotta have a half dozen Seedborns between some of those.
Ideally, I'd like to see near-reprints (Recruiter of the Guard) first for some of these cards before they do a full-on reprints.

What else is safe (for now?)

They seemed like low hanging fruit to me but whatever.
