So, the holidays are only 3 months away and my parents ask all of their adult children to give a list of suggestions for gifts (yes, I still write a letter to "Santa" hehehe).
I know that there are, and always will be singles I need to pick up. It's odd to just ask for the singles, so I figure a gift card that I can chip away at throughout the year can be useful.
Looking for advice on stores, websites, or anything that would be a good option for a gift card to get singles from. I was thinking about Amazon, but the prices there aren't high & not that competitive. Does TCGPlayer have gift cards? How about Ebay?
One thing to keep in mind, I play a lot of Commander, kitchen table, and legacy, so I need a place that has access to older cards.
I have been active on eBay for years. It has been my preferred site for buying and selling my commander foils. They do sell gift cards for eBay. I use them constantly. You do need an eBay account and a PayPal account to use them.

I'll second the rec for eBay gift cards. TCGP does offer gift cards - just make sure not to get confused with a copy of the YGO card "Gift Card".

I will have to agree with the ebay gift card suggestion. Honestly prices on ebay tend to be the lowest you will find most places, occasionally tcgplayer is cheaper, but I would say in general ebay is the better and more flexible option (if you need something other than cards, the ebay gift card can help there too.
TCGP beats out eBay if you're likely to need smaller things, especially in larger numbers. If there's any chance you're going to want playsets of commons or other inexpensive cards it's easier to get an order of those without shipping costs getting too high. If you're primarily picking up cards over a few dollars each, eBay is the better call.

Gift cards are already considered a pretty impersonal gift (not that I personally feel that way, but some consider it as not putting much though into the gift), so saying "get me an eBay gift card, which I'll use for Magic" isn't much more "personal" than "please get me a Visa gift card, which I can use at any of dozens of different stores, which I'll use for Magic". If you're already probably gonna get a gift card anyway, getting a Visa is the most flexible one. Problem solved.

Thank you for any suggestions.
