I tried using it in the past, but it was a pain to "give away" goods that I had to pay shipping on (if you decided upon the shipping option; there is also an option for local pick-up only).
It seams like a cross between Ebay & Puca Trade. You list items, w/ photos, categories, photos, and amount of time for others to bid. Yup, you may be "giving away" Magic cards with others bidding on them, but you do earn "credits" on your items/cards (anything can go up on Lista, but Magic is quite popular on it too).
That is where to Puca Trade half comes in... points. You earn points by bidding away cards. Those points can then be used to bid on other items. So, you can turn your unused Magic singles into other singles, or a pair of binoculars, a basketball, or an old NES cartridge.
I am trying it out again, with some experience under my belt (last time I posted a few items & decided to delete the app when I was tired of it, unaware that that didn't mean my account was shut down. I ended up haveing others put in bids on my items w/o me realizing it. Then cases were opened up on me (& of course, they won, when I didn't ship the items. That was the accidental hot water I got myself into.
This time, I have decided to ONLY list Magic singles that can be sent in a PWE w/ a single toplaoder.
Has anyone else used Listia? If so, what's your opinion? Good, bad, weird - tell it! If you are just now being introduced to it, check it out & tell me what you think.
I'm not to sure if there is a direct correlation between points and the weight of the dollar, but it does feel like there has been some inflation w/ the points. I hope to come back in a week (the duration of my listings) to report in w/ a "yay" or "nay." Might be an interesting alternative to explore.
