Just wondering if anybody got any real steals/deals? I finally tallied up my purchases from last Black Friday through Cyber Monday and found out I spent $498 on singles and an additional $37 on supplies (Dragon Shields, Perfect Fits, and 9-pocket binder pages). Out of that $498 I did end up with $15 credited back on TCGP through their promotion (5-10% back depending on the day you purchased).
Things of note I was able to pick up were a Mana Drain Judge foil for $145, FTV Strip Mine for $19.78, Eldrazi Conscription Foil for $14.40, an Idyllic Tutor Foil for $36.54, and an EMA Enlightened Tutor Foil for $22.49. Overall a good chunk of my money was spent on lands, various Shocks, Temples of's, Innistrad Checklands, and a few Fetches (I exclusively play EDH, and have 21 decks currently). When I added it all up I surprised myself and found I also spent $41 on tokens, LOL.

I bought myself an Aether Vial from TCG. Hasn't arrived yet. It'll be $70 after the kickback. I feel like that was a good find.
Nice pickup on that Mana Drain! Where'd you find that price?

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
I wasn't going to buy one of those yet, but $145 shipped is far and away the best price I've seen. You're directly responsible for that purchase (also I kind of wanted to support ToA given their recent forays into legacy, so this was a good excuse). I'll thank you even if my wallet might not.
I didn't buy a single Magic product and I feel great. I'm prepping the rest of my non-standard collection to sell at GP Louisville.
Me too. I recently quit my job and got another that pays half of that, so I'm trying to seriously curb my Magic spending.

Legacy - Sneak Show, BR Reanimator, Miracles, UW Stoneblade
Premodern - Trix, RecSur, Enchantress, Reanimator, Elves https://www.facebook.com/groups/PremodernUSA/ Modern - Neobrand, Hogaak Vine, Elves
Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)
Draft - (I wish I had more time for limited...)
Commander - Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build) (dead format for me)
Card Kingdom was offering $15 store credit back on each $100 spent so I used up my $500 credit from card buylisting and essentially scored a 15% bonus on top of the 30% bonus I already received. Happy camper.

Sadly I'm thinking of cashing out too. I have gone up to my usual LGS several times on the weekends to find some EDH games and there are literally zero Magic players at the shop. Used to could find 5-10 on any given weekend. I'm too busy to get up there much and as we've gotten older my playgroups have all dissolved. I literally have nobody to play Magic with.
I just feel like I'll kick myself in 2-3 years because no way I'll pay the kind of money it takes to buy into revised duals, shocks, fetches etc. I did this once and when I got back in, I felt stupid to have sold the things I sold for so little. But on the other hand it's thousands of dollars I could put into savings or something I'll actually use.
Man... getting older sucks. lol

That was too good to pass up. I'll suck it up and pay off the credit card bill later.
Thanks!
Other than that, I grabbed a few EDH goodies. Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, foil Future Sight, foil Nature's Will, foil Kaho, Minamo Historian. TCG 10% kickback isn't the best deal ever, but it's something and I'll definitely use the credit.
