I used to trade and sell a lot online back in the day, but more or less retired about 5-6 years back. I still have a decently sized collection and am figuring out the best way to unload it. I used to use MOTL and apathy house for eBay-based pricing, but these guides don't seem as accurate as they were before.
I'd appreciate any recommendations for a reliable site for pricing out cards, and the reasons why you like the site.
Much appreciated!
Bonus question: what % can I expect in cash if I were to sell my collection to a dealer? The collection is a mix of bulk and playables.
I know in the past, the conventional wisdom was to piecemeal out the good stuff and bulk off the rest. Does this still apply? How about midrange cards in the $3-5 range?

Are you still in Canada? Location location location, after all.
A lot of people on this side of the pond use TCGMid or TCGMarket. It's a generally accepted standard, and Market shows what the cards are actually selling for. In Europe it's mostly MKM. And the reason is simply ubiquity - it's so easy to buy a card from TCGPlayer (or MKM), that listed prices tend to be about what people are willing to pay.
Bonus answer: About 50%. Buylisting to a store is very easy, and thus gets you the least $$, since the store does all the work.

My April 1999 issue of Scrye Magazine. I like it because according to it I can find Gaea's Cradle for $13. Now, if only other people would get on the same page as me and use it too...
