Well, Mishra's Bauble gets to join the esteemed group of cards that doubled in price (jumped to $20 a pop) seemingly overnight thanks to buyouts.
I put in an order for a playset at $10 each when it seemed like they were getting scarce and it's still getting processed, so I have a bad feeling I'm going to get screwed on it.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
I disagree - as an expensive Modern uncommon, it'd be a good thing to put in the "Modern Masters Whenever We Do It Again Probably 2017" set. Those sets NEED expensive uncommons to help soften the blow of the high MSRP.

That will probably help soften the blow for a while. Sadly many uncommons don't continue to hold a lowpricepointforverylong.

Others do. Modern Masters 1 was severely underprinted, and three years old at this point. MM2 print runs were higher. Time will tell if EMA had a large enough print run to permanently dent uncommon prices such as Chain Lightning and Cabal Therapy, but I suspect that it will. And if it doesn't, they can always be reprinted again.

The market price is still under $20, which means that people are not yet paying exorbitant prices for Bauble (merchants are only asking for it). It may well be the most expensive card from Coldsnap by the time Kaladesh hits the shelves, but it's not there yet. Have faith, my friends - the sky has not yet fallen

Ebay has a sold listing of a MP one today at 29 dollars.
What are people thinking? lol
They're thinking Suicide Zoo is the new format all star.
On a related note, that set I ordered at $10 a pop was actually delivered, in case any of you were worried about me.
We weren't
That said, TCGP is showing prices in the high forties to low sixties.
I'm a little irritated myself because I wanted to finally get a full Coldsnap set (not just baubles) to compliment my Ice Ages/Alliance sets. Asking prices are getting nudged up thanks to the speculators.
When you use TCG Player, look at the MARKET PRICE. That's why it is there; to avoid spikes based on speculation. The current market price is 19.25, That is absurd for a bauble, sure, but it ain't no Jace, the Mind Sculptor money.

Right, I tried to stick the "asking price" or whatever the sellers are asking for is called? Sellers price maybe? I really meant what's available from the sellers.
eBay is going crazy too. People seem to be asking roughly $35 a pop.
When does anyone think the price will settle (hopefully) down? I don't really want to sell a Force of Will to get a playset of baubles.

I just don't see the spec bearing any real fruit. I don't know what deck really needs it that much.
There are actual staples that do not demand that price.

1 reprint away from dropping to 10usd or lower. I will say wait for MM17. Selling FoWs for bauble is just wrong
I have a few. Wish I got Moxes or Black Lotus instead, ces la vie
