I'm seeing prices as low as mid-$30's. I saw a local Gamestop had a couple clearanced on the shelf for that price. It's readily had on Amazon right now.
Mainly considering the land pack, which includes full-art wastes, I'm considering buying some. Best case, I hang on to them and they go up in value. Worst case, I can use the packs for friendly drafts and keep the sealed land packs. The land pack itself is worth about half of the ~$35 price. Also, an expeditions possibility.
EDIT: Also, if I were to buy a few booster boxes for a long term hold, do you think BFZ or OGW is a better bet?

Certainly not a bad idea. Especially if you're willing to hold onto it for 4 or 5 years. My opinion is the land pack from OGW is going to be far more valuable because of the wastes. It's already been stated that Wastes are a BFZ thing only and are not intended to be reprinted. Likely that means they'll shoot up in value in a few years - especially the foils.
If you're going to buy boxes, you would pretty much only be doing it for the Expedition lottery. That means BFZ since almost all of the good expeditions are there.

I agree with almost everything that Seal has said, with the caveat that FULL ART Wastes are a BFZ-only thing. I expect to see them reprinted in one of the annual Commander decks, as well as possibly in a Masters set a couple years down the road.
The rest, totally agree.

Understood. I think I'll buy 4-8 sealed OGW fat packs and hang on to them for a while.
The booster box thing- I just thought I'd buy one or two and keep them sealed. With the uniqueness of BFZ/OGW, I figure it will pan out in the long term.
Keep in mind that Wastes are 99.5% casual only. That means they won't likely see the attention that popular full-art color-producing basics have. While the casual market is strong, Wastes simply aren't useful in competitive formats.
BFZ or OGW are not good long-term investments. they are both printed in the hundreds of millions. they are nice cards but not investment cards because supply is too high. there will always be BFZ and OGW booster boxes on ebay that will easily meet demand.

Booster boxes and fat packs are different creatures. The fat pack, in this case, is basically a large box wrapped around a full-art land pack and nine chances at the expedition lottery, and that's something that will be in demand as long as the game continues to grow.
