what the hell happened that Chandra, Flamecaller spiked by 80% in two days?
do you think she will keep it?
She's seeing some Standard play, and her price had been almost criminally low before.
It really depends on what happens at rotation, IMO. If she continues to perform (or becomes even better) in a SOI-meta, then she will certainly maintain her price. If she ends up getting sidelines (because 6 mana is a lot), she'll drop, although not, I think, to her pre-spike low.

As mentioned in the Standard Prices thread: Madness works with her. Graveyards work with her. This is a factor to how she is gaining steam in speculations.
Her [0] is absurdly powerful even without taking either to consideration.
Also i'm hearing she is an all-star in 1.5 & Modern. I think only time will tell.
Where are you seeing people using her in legacy and modern? She doesn't have nearly enough of a game ending effect in either of those formats to pay 6 for her. Modern games are over before you can drop her, and the decks that could conceivably play her in legacy are using a combo kill (Painter) or efficient creatures (Stompy). There were some people over at the source who briefly entertained the idea of using her in Nic Fit, but she's not nearly high impact enough.
Solid EDH card on top of whatever standard uses she has. Red card draw is always going to have some demand there.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
So would it be a good idea to go ahead and bite the bullet on her now or wait it out? It seems crazy to me that a 6 mana walker from the latest set that's probably a 2-of in a few decks can sustain a $20 price tag, but I've been wrong in the past about Planeswalker values.

I can't remember exactly where I heard that she was being played in 1.5/modern perhaps my LGS and well yeah Modern is too full of Eldrazi to be using Chandra.

Narset Transcendent seems to be a watershed moment because people didn't learn the lesson from Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker.
