The day after the announcement I bought a playset of foil Chromatic Lanterns. They were already an EDH staple (or at the very least, a near-staple). Got mine for a little over $10 apiece, now the cheapest on TCGP are approaching $15. Even if they don't go up a huge amount, they're always extremely playable (I've got 21 EDH decks and am always building more). I went with foils because EDH is a pimpable format, and less likely to get reprinted in something like the annual Commander decks.
Bring to Light, Exert Influence, and Engineered Explosives are the only other cards I can come up with that really care about this change. Fellwar Stone is already a somewhat popular mana rock, but I count one general and three other cards it now enables better.
While not exactly about the topic at hand, I really wish they would make exceptions for the Bringers, now that you can produce off color mana. They are really unique and always overlooked because of the insane requirement. I also wish the same would be true for Fist of suns, could you imagine casting your Kozilek, Butcher of truth for cmc-5? Pipe dreams, I know. On topic, sunburst cards can be considered now in everything. Not damaging to the format at all, but I'd like to think some brews can now abuse these once niche-only cards.
Still requires that you can produce the mana. No way does that go up.
I read what the card does and thought it sounded fun. I bought some foils because they're a buck each and it'll be fun to play this after dropping a Chromatic Lantern.
Overall, I doubt this affects too many cards. Stuff that lets you cast cards owned by opponents (Grinning Totem, Praetor's Grasp, Ornate Kanzashi, Nightveil Specter, Muse Vessel) gets a little stronger if you run a ton of rainbow lands and stuff like Lantern. Sunburst and Converge similarly get a little stronger with Rainbow lands.
Rainbow lands get a little stronger because of the above cards. Prismatic Omen seems like one that might move a little, since it's already got a lot of other applications.

Does this mean a Fallen Empires rare might finally be sought out Rainbow Vale
