Nahiri, the Harbinger is going nuts. Apparently seeing play in some Legacy Miracles as well as Modern Kiki-Chord. But it is in standard, hence my post here.
Is Thought-Knot Seer ever going to go up? He seems massively opened and is already a multi-format all-star, so I assume his price has pretty much settled and can only go down.

Aanyone have a guess as to whether foil (prerelease) Arlinn Kord will keep trending downward or should I grab it now? I have the pucapoints and there seems to be no competition for it at the moment, but I've already been burned hard by her twice on Pucatrade (traded for one at 2500 and two at 2200 points and now the regular is only 1199). It's 3300 points over on Pucatrade right now but I don't feel like paying that much for it. Is she seeing ANY play whatsoever? Is 3300 points (basically $33) a good price for a foil flip planeswalker?
I'm certainly no expert, but I'd say go on $33 for a foil PW. I own a cube with an enormous number of walkers, and am pretty much resigned to having to pay at least $25 for a foil of any planeswalker card, no matter how underplayed. The next PW duel deck is nissa vs nixilis, so you're insulated from a price cratering on Arlinn for at least another 6 to 9 months. I also would be skeptical of wizards selecting her as the face card of whatever SOI duel deck they come out with next year. Jace vs Nahiri, Nahiri vs Sorin, or Nahiri vs Liliana would be my guesses for the featured PWs on next year's product.
that will really depend on how much play Kolaghan's Command will see in the future. It MAY drop under 10$ but im not sure about this. Modern playable cards tend to be more expensive than standard only cards, even if they see less play overall.
Liliana is up to $25 tcglow - color me happy because I lost my mind and pre-ordered 4x at 19.99. I thought she was really good but then I remembered that standard cards aren't worth anything anymore. If the other cards in this set are as weak as I think they are, that will work out in Lili's favor.
Spell Queller is also up to $10 low. I think this card is real.
Ishkanah is up to $9.50. I was going to snag some @ $4, but this was after I bought my Lili's and I remembered that cards aren't worth anything in standard. I also think Delirium is iffy. Without delirium, the spider kind of sucks. We'll see. Edit: lol, less than 20 minutes later and the spider is up to $13 because someone came through and bought anything cheaper.
Those double-sided foil zombie tokens from the prerelease kits are selling for over $7 on eBay and 500 pts on Pucatrade.
I would never have guessed there'd be enough demand to support that price, even with the semi-limited nature of their printing.
What will help to keep their price up, is the fact that if you want these at all, you're going to want them in quantity, 5, 7, 10 or more. So even though supply is healthy, demand will be high as well. Not to say these won't experience a drop, but we could be looking at a $3-5 token for the foreseeable future.
Well, there goes Liliana, the Last hope. Glad I got my copy for my EDH deck before this weekend hit because it looks like it's on Nahiri trajectory for the time being.

Can someone explain to me why this card is so expensive?
the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.

I wish I knew. It doesn't seem like it's making waves at SCG Baltimore, that is for sure. I've mostly seen bant Coco, B/W angel, and G/W tokens. The newest deck is GU crush and that uses a completely different walker.

I've been wondering if I should order another Liliana now or wait a while. I checked mtgstocks and the mid price is $40! Glad I bought one impulse copy at the card shop for $26!
I wonder about people's thoughts on how long it will take for her price point to come back down? A month? Maybe I should pick up another copy now?
Do you think she'll possibly go up before she goes back down?

I just made a comment about what to do with Lily in my article here. For your question specifically, I would not buy it unless you get it at around thirty five-ish. It is not likely to crack fifty, but it will tick up a little more then slowly drop over the next month or two if it sees no major increase in play. Price memory is a thing and if Lily does well at the Pro Tour, it may say at 45.

I'm going to agree with this. Getting them at 35 is probably for the best if the intent is to play her this standard. Two color decks will get stronger once rotation hits and coco disappears along with the leftover Kahns block and Magic Origins cards. Given the decks I've seen playing her, that may put her in a more valued position than what she is in currently.

Liliana is bonkers. That is why she's going up. If the PT solidifies her standing, expect her to crack $50. There isn't much else to soak up box value in the set.
I can't find any other reasonable support for those two to spike independently.

IIRC, this command is used in some modern decks. What do folks expect its floor to be?

Not sure what you mean here. Anymore since Avacyn or since Flip Jace?

Exactly, Liliana was in the second best placing deck at Columbus, and has solidified herself as integral to decks playing black.
