A lgs has FTV: Annihilation sealed sets for $25. Should I buy them? One to keep sealed, one to play, both?
Well, it's worth about double that in terms of shear value. You may be able to make a bit of money flipping the singles, or even the box, but it wouldn't be that much. As for keeping one sealed, I honestly don't really know what would make it gain value, as it was a pretty low value set.

I'd buy at that price. You shouldn't have any trouble flipping a sealed set later on, and the singles are decent for casual/EDH play, with Terminus also being Legacy playable.
