Someone's offering $432 for the following. I'm thinking I'll do it.
2x NM Scalding Tarn $45
1 SP Scalding Tarn $40
3 Misty Rainforest $40
3x Arid Mesa $30
4x Verdant Catacombs
Flooded Strand
Marsh Flats
unless I could do better on Ebay or with trade . But honestly 430 in my Paypal now is really tempting
This looks pretty good. I'd do it.
Edit: Well, I miscounted on value; TCGMid is much higher than what you're getting (roughly $490). However, you're probably not gonna get that, partly due to fees and probably having to sell for more around TCGLow, so I think this deal is fine. Adding it up at TCGLow, you're getting it better than that by about $10 or so.
So he's getting TCG Mid minus 15% or so. How is that not a good deal?

That's exactly what I was implying (that it was a good deal). I just gave a closer analysis of it. The first bolded statement of my previous post shows that I approved of the deal. The second bolded statement is where I explained that it's actually better than TCGLow (Which is what you'd get if you were to eBay them).
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
What is the announcement of MM2 going to do to the value of the Zen fetches? They must be in either DTK or MM2, so does it make sense to get them now or wait? I was going to grab them now but really don't need them at this moment and I don't want to throw money away.
I would trade them for shocks or ktkfetches. I sold most mine right before ktk got spoiled. Thd ones i have left i dont intend to sell because it basically seems win win just to sell them. Meaning i missed out already so hold on to what dignity i have left and keep them for the pride.

What do you mean you don't want to sell them because it's "Win-Win" to sell them. That seems contradictory.
I feel like I missed out too, which is why I kinda want to sell them for something that may increase in value down the road. (i.e. If I trade a Misty Rainforest for 4 $10 fetches and those Fetches grow to $14 down the road, then I effectively recouped $16).

I would go with this route man. Shocklands are literally the best speculation right now because everyone knows they're going to increase in value. If you can get the original Ravnica block ones as a playset for your fetches I would do that. No one at my LGS is into speculating Magic so I've been trading Standard rares for shocks like crazy. Literally came home with 3x Sacred Foundary, 2x Watery Grave, 2x Steam Vents, 2x Stomping Ground and 1x Overgrown Tomb after an hour of trading last FNM and I'm pretty sure all I traded was 2 Kiora's, 1 Xenagos, the Reveler foil, 1 Mantis Rider and 1 Crackling Doom. So I would definitely go the trade route.
Sounds good. I think that's the way I'm going to go then. Unless I happen to sell them in the mean time. At least I'll get equal value and be able to sell them easier I think...

Hah sorry. When i type on this tablet things i say tend to make no sense.
I mean, I figure it will be better for me to keep a playset of zen fetches then to worry about a $20 gain. Just doesnt seem worth the effort to get rid of them anymore after they fell in price.
I haven't had much luck selling my Zendikar Fetches so far, at least not at the prices I'm hoping for (which are a hair above TCGlow
I'm thinking I might be better off trading them for other cards that will hopefully be stable or increase in price as time goes on.
Would love to get your thoughts on what to trade for, but I'm thinking these...
Shocklands
KTK Fetches
Legacy staples like FOW?
What else do you think I should trade for?
I think you shouldn't have been greedy and should have sold them for $432, but that's just me.
I wasn't greedy. The guy who was going to buy them from me got a call from his workplace telling he had been laid off like an hour after we agreed to a sale. Seems to happen a lot, someone will agree to buy some of my fetches and then suddenly lose their job, wife spends an arm and a leg shopping, bought a wedding ring or something else, found out they didn't have enough in their Paypal. This is happening to me with a lot of things, not just Fetchlands and MTG cards.
Also, I'm considering just keeping them like Tykimeister did...idk. Maybe they'll go back up to where they were a few months ago.

FYI, this happens all the time. I dunno how many times I bought on ebay in the past, and the seller couldnt ship because their house burned down, they were in a major accident and just woke up from a coma, etc. It's incredible how the sellers i bought from always suffered calamity preventing them from shipping until I opened a dispute.

That's aggravating.
I'd try and sell them for slightly less than TCG Low. Have you tried Facebook groups? Because when they get reprinted, they will crash HARD.
Original edition foils are mostly reprint-proof - that is to say, a reprint won't affect the prices. I've been thinking about trying to finish my ONS foil fetches, but they're just not budging, so it's probably not going to happen. Zendikar is probably going to follow the same model - the nonfoils will lose half (or more) of their value, but the foils are just going to keep going. They're the "best" version available, so there will always be increased demand tied to that. People who buy foils usually want the best.

Sorry if I confused anyone else.
You're going to lose $20-30 on every card.
$200 to play with these cards for 3 months?
At least in the event there is no reprint you can buy then.
I'd be selling everything.
I'm going to bump this thread up again.

Only Scalding Tarn is still selling heavily. The others are just so easy to replace with Khans fetches.
Many people are just willing to wait and see if the 10 land cycle promise is fulfilled by WoTC.
