You'll probably just have to wait and be patient until the right buyer comes along that wants enough small stuff to justify the mailing (or 1 expensive card plus a couple small $ ones). As folks here have already mentioned before, it's a good idea to establish your personal minimum transaction. Lots of these $1-2 exist because there are lots of folks in the $3+ range, ready to pounce on those deals (about $3 is my personal minimum transaction).
Finally, if there is stuff in your collection that is just not moving, or will take a long time and luck to unload (eccentric foils), you might also set boundaries on when it's time to take it off pucatrade and take the hit at your LGS. I got impatient with a new sorin, dig through time, and a Rav chord of calling that weren't moving, so I took the hit at my LGS for the quick and dirty.
EDIT: just one final observation, DS... I would recommend checking out the website around the times folks are theoretically getting off work across the country (6-9pm est), and just keep reloading your "send cards" page and sorting frequently by card cost and user. There are little "feeding frenzy" times where a lot of folks are posting wants and lots of folks are fulfilling. Things move fast, but it's the best time to snatch up a good opportunity. /2 cents
Has anyone found it difficult to move smaller cards with reasonable transactions costs?
I have a lot of $1-3 cards to trade, but it's not really worth spending 65 cents on postage to mail a card less than $2. It seems like a lot of people there don't really take transactions costs into consideration, based on the fact that $.50 card orders seem to get filled almost instantaneously.
I've heard of some people can mail stuff for free from their company which could explain a lot of those 50 cent cards being sent out.

I think a more common explanation is that someone sees $5 worth of $.50 cards on someone's want list, clicks to send the first $.50 card, and then doesn't realize the person is only at 70 points. That happened to me (sending) and my trade partners (sending to me).

I have almost done that a few times and shipping from here is around $1.10 to anywhere I would be sending a card to. I now sort by card points then do a quick filter by user points to double check things.
specifically, check out page monitor extension for chrome. it is invaluable. my minimum for shipping is 3$ per 49c stamp.
overall puca has treated me very well. i have completed my standard deck and am on my way to getting several revised duals after sending out around 1k$ in cards in this past month. all the people that complain about standard prices should start using this site lol. i don't think i will ever be without a standard deck thanks to this site. my main gripe is slow shippers. i did have one guy complain about NM- cards calling them LP and taking days to respond. of course before that ordeal i had sent him another letter, which he had not confirmed yet and i think he will try to claim he has not received them.
also lol at one of the posts on this thread "serious player rarely trade" LOL are you kidding. do you just happen to have 4x of every card ever? and buylisting? shooting yourself in the foot on value pretty hard there.
Funny seeing you guys complaining about postage below $1. International stamps from Australia are $2.70 each. So I have to wait till I see something worth $6+ before I post something and yet I still manage to send out close to 2000 cards with pucatrade. I love those collectors looking for sets. There would have been no way for me to move the commons and uncommons I've ammassed over the years from prerelease events. 20-40 cards at 15-25 points does add up and before you know it, that's another $10+ package to go towards a rare or mythic that I can play with.
The collectors are indeed very convenient thing about pucatrade. Also, that chrome plug-in from the guide janome posted is golden. I had the problem that the deals for my cards would just disappear while I was working on them while now I can see them coming online real time. Helped me snag 50 cards to send already in two days :).
After seeing all those collectors, I realize that I really need to get all my uncommons online to really start profiting off it. So many people looking for small uncommons that can really flesh out a deal.... but it's SO much work.
That chrome plugin only monitors any change in the send list. If only it would be smart enough to check totals by members. My send list in always hovering in the 100-130 mark. I have to scan through and check if any are worth sending... Quite annoying when the members with the same points aren't grouped together correctly (since it's sorted by members point balance. Especially at the 400 or 500 mark).
It's not too much trouble to catalogue everything. I had about 15,000 cards and did it in about a week (a few hours each day). Then it's only 10-20mins after each prerelease. Comes in handy when you're deck building too. Can easily search your collection to see if you have a particular card.
I have a few users who I sent cards to a while back that haven't confirmed my sent cards. I've messaged them but gotten now responses. They are all cards that are around a buck, and I'm pretty sure based on their point totals that they just joined the site to get 3-4 bucks worth of free cards. Will I be likely to get these points if I open a case? I'm just worried that if I open up several cases the mods of the website will think I didn't actually send and am trying to rip people off.
Edit: I have completed 26 trades for about 100 dollars (sending. and received about 80 dollars worth) on the site so far, so I do have a bit of credibility that will help in cases I think.
If I remember correctly, so long as you can provide proof that you sent cards, the points will be sent to your account.
I'm actually really happy I signed up. I sent a V. Clique as my first trade to a person in Australia. I know, right? Go big or go home. So far everything that everyone has been saying about the site is true. It's so much easier to trade on that site than anywhere else I have been too.

you are going to get your points. open a case and alert admin at 2 weeks after ship date (if usa -> usa, 1 month if usa -> foreign country). people signing up and forgetting they have an account and/or that they need to click confirm happens all of the time. they will wait a week or so and complete the trade.
People do accept non NM cards on there, I know I do.
It depends. I had one guy message me beforehand about the condition, and we discussed a point send back to accommodate. I had another person, however, just send me an MP card for a trade without mentioning beforehand. I messaged him, told him that the site specifically stipulated NM and that I would be sending the card back. I'm also more likely to accept some wear on older cards or cards that I want for EDH.
This is becoming a problem. I keep receiving older cards in seriously played condition. I even had a creased card sent to me with binder dings and whiting around all edges of the boarder. I put a reminder in my profile that I only want NM/M cards, but keep getting cards of lesser condition.
I even saw another members profile flat out say that if you send him cards that aren't NM/M he is just going to keep them and consider them a gift.

just mark on your profile you will send cards back if its not nm, that will keep people straight. i have never gotten anything horrible, but i have only gotten my standard deck from puca so far.
Generally from PucaTrade I have even lower expectations of condition on cards I receive than on TCGplayer. It's one of the bigger drawbacks of the site.
I've had a few condition issues as well. I overlooked most because they were dirt cheap cards. I had one guy send me a Rings of Brighthearth that had whiting around the borders. Fortunately he was cool about it and let me keep the card with a refund of about 300 points. Yesterday I received a Polluted Delta that was shipped in a PWE that was way too large (arrived in bad shape) and the card itself was loose inside a hard case with no penny sleeve and no tape over the top. the card had partially slipped out and has a white ding on the corner that I imagine happened in-transit. I decided it wasn't worth making a case over since it would probably result in me having to return the card (and I need it) or taking a refund of a few hundred points at most. Disappointed that people use such terrible shipping practices though, especially on a $10+ card.
So question before I get into this. I would love to turn a bunch of random EDH cards, and other cards sitting in my binder into a revised tundra. Most of the cards I have to put up are between 100 and 400ish, with some over 1000. Is it even worth it for me to do this? Or would I just be wasting my time and money (shipping money) on trying to convert this junk cards into something so pricy?

Here were my thoughts going in: I have a bunch of 1-2 dollar standard cards. Post rotation they'll drop to maybe 25-50 cents. I'd probably only be able to buylist them for 5-10 cents post rotation and not that much more right now. Rather than looking at losing 50 cents a stamp, I prefer to think of it as gaining 40-50 cents net on a dollar card. If you have a lot of them and don't mind spend the couple minutes to package them up, it's worth it (unless you are making a long post office run for just one or two cards every time).

No it is definitely easy. Ship in the US, and maybe Canada. Try to ensure you get more margin for the postage, envelope, and penny sleeve (but dont be afraid to "break even" just to move some janky cards.
I took all of my theros and return to ravnica sets and put them up. 10 cents, 50 cents here and there on the commons and uncommons as profit adds up fast.
I ship once a week on Mondays as well.
I have earned enough to have a Eureka from Legends on the way. sometime you find cards in your collection you picked up for 25 cents each long ago and are now worth $10 or more (Rings of BRighthearth :)) and you are moving on your way.
So question before I get into this. I would love to turn a bunch of random EDH cards, and other cards sitting in my binder into a revised tundra. It depends on you. For me most of my 100-400ish cards are not actually worth $1.00-$4.00. They are worth $0 - they've been sitting in my binder doing nothing for a couple years and all they do it take up space. I could Buylist the cards but most of them are not on most Buylists and if they are they are offering $.30-$1.50.
So, there is a weird economics to Pucatrade for people. By trading up you will probably waste some money on shipping and waste some time finding trades. You may give up what appears to be worth $200 worth of cards and $20 in postage to get a $200 card. But, if you want a Tundra this is a relatively easy way to get one. When you look at your alternatives, what are they? Buylist cards with a retail price of $400? Spend $200? Find someone locally who wants your chaff enough to trade for their Tundra?
You may give up what appears to be worth $200 worth of cards and $20 in postage to get a $200 card
When I trade in cards that have been sitting in my binder/on my MTGS trade list for years or cards that were laying in boxes that I didn't even know had value (Molten Rains and such), I don't even factor in the value of the card. I just see myself getting whatever card my points were used on for however much it cost me to ship those handful of $1-$4 cards that it took to get those points. Because honestly, it's not like the card I shipped was really doing anything for me anyway. It's hard for me to move cards that have value due to casual appeal because most people at my LGS play Modern or Standard. There are some EDH players but they don't do much trading and the ones that would need said cards just buy them or already have them. Therefore when I trade in 5x Utopia Sprawls for around 1,000 points and then get a Wooded Foothills with those points, I mostly see it as me getting a fetchland for about $1 in shipping costs.
Since I hardly buy any Standard packs these days and my Modern stuff has dwindled dramatically as I've traded/sold it to keep up with standard and complete EDH decks, pucatrades is great for me because I can trade off stuff like Maelstrom Nexus, which is "worth" $6 but you would be very hard pressed to actually find someone who would give you $6 value in physical cards for.
I think getting over the idea that your card that sells for $2.00 at a store is worth $2.00 is a hard thing for a lot of people. Also, once you get in the mindset that you are trading unused game pieces for game pieces you will use and that there is a transaction cost, it makes it a lot more fun (and realistic).

All this discussion about condition has me a bit worried. From my experience, people in the USA and Canada rate cards many times stricter than we do in Europe, with NM essentially being mint and LP being more of a NM thing for us. So, something is already light played if the surface of the card is slightly deformed (a bump so to say?) or with a slight touch of whitening (hardly noticable unless a dark surface is placed under the card)?
I find a lot of the "ONLY NM CARDS!!!!!!1!!!1" messages on peoples pages quite intimidating and foreboding of a bad trading experience (especially with the difference in grading systems).
Different topic: why are there two types of Delver of Secrets on Puca... one being about 120 points and the other around 60? What baffles me is that there is about an equal amount of people looking/offering either one.
RE: Condition. Just because it's an automated system doesn't mean communication is dead. And they do have a condition guide: https://pucatrade.com/condition
RE: Delver. Not sure. The reason both are on lists might be because of you get to each. One might be the version that shows up with you auto-fill (120) and when you add it might send you to the 60 or both.

I store my cards in 800 count boxes or binders, and only play them in sleeves. Some of them have minor indentations visible when you look sideways at them in the light, but none have nicked edges or scratches. If you treated your cards right, I wouldn't expect any complaints from other traders. I have not had a single complaint in my 257 cards I've sent out. I think the intimidating profiles are there because some people are actual collectors, and people may be tempted to send slightly-played cards that non-collectors would accept.
