I have a bunch of fetches on my have list, but I'm waiting for the price to go up because 10 million people want them.
Same here. They are not on my haves though, but I'm just sitting on them for at least 2 full years before even considering trading them.
As for address label, try buying address sticker and printing them yourself at home with Office. You can get the right sticker at your local dollar store. Costed me a sinfgle dollar to get 300 stickers and with proper settings, you won't use that much toner on your printer.
Or even better, print directly onto envelopes. I made a Publisher template in about five minutes & now have to handwrite absolutely nothing. I used to use a full-envelope sticker, but had to change to direct prints after a day where I sent out 10 Puca trades & was told not to do that with stickers anymore.

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
being in New Zealand I seem to have difficulty getting people to send anything other than cards they are desperately trying to get rid of; any fetches / high want cards just seem to get passed around the U.S.
You know the junk mail that AAA life insurance sends you (or any other company that does this)? It comes w/ a sheet of address labels...
DON'T THROW THOSE AWAY!!!!
For months now I have been keeping an eye out for them. When mailing a ton of envelopes w/ cards, it can make life waaaayyyy easy. Last month I mailed about 16 envelopes at once and the address labels saved my hand from aching up.
There's another thing to consider when looking at the haves/wants ratio. Everytime you want a card and it is received, it goes onto your haves list, but marked as not for trade. Most people probably don't even bother taking them off. There's "only" 90 active wants of polluted delta (going by people who have the points for at least one of them). At the current rate of 10 being traded per day, that's only 9 days for the whole list to cycle, which isn't too bad. That 10/day number can be deceiving though since that counts the entire time the card has been available, and might not be accurate with current trends versus when the card first came out.
How do you see 'haves'? Do you have to be gold? I can only see other 'wants' as a silver.
With my silver account, I can see it on the search results page, such as here. Mouse over the card image but don't click.
If there is only one printing, you have to get creative in your searching method because using just the name will bypass the search results page.
Yeah, for example if flooded strand only had 1 printing, you can just search for 'flooded' and pull up a few cards with that it in the title. That gets around going straight to the card's page.
Probably preaching to the choir here - but seriously, don't use certified mail for shipping trades. It's so annoying to get cards this way. Second time I've had someone ship me a card certified, and second time I've had to go across town at rush hour to the post office because I'm not home to sign for it. Tracking + insurance is good enough on the high-value stuff.

While I can certainly understand the inconvenience and frustration of having to deal with signing for a package and having to deal with going down to the post office and such. Unfortunately when it comes to full protection for more valuable items, some form of signature tracking is necessary, due to the risks associated with mail theft, or USPS screwing up and putting the package in the wrong box, or other such issues. The signature requirement covers any and all issues that could come up no matter who could be the cause of the issue. With signature tracking and insurance if the post office damages the package in transit, or it doesn't make it there, then they will cover it.

It's actually funny, because I agree with both of you. It's very annoying to have to drive to the post office to pick up a magic trade. HOWEVER, I just received an expensive package shipped with tracking and insurance, and it was placed in the apartment complex "unclaimed" mail pile, on the ground. It had almost $200 in cards that were shipped with tracking and insurance, and I didn't see it for 3 days, because I would have assumed it would be placed in my mailbox! And this is for a package that cost $6 to ship in a small bubble mailer with tracking and insurance! I would have rather had to go to the post office, than to deal with the fallout of the package getting accidentally thrown away....that would have been the end of my puca trade career.
Ah, I guess all of that is true. Both times I've gotten certified mail is been on trades <$20, so the context is a bit different. I definitely see the value now on the high-end stuff :).

Agreed on lower value orders tracking and insurance if you want the extra coverage is fine, and while issues where signature tracking would be beneficial are rare, at the end of the day its a small price to pay to make sure the possibility of additional issues is taken care of just in case. The mention of apartment issues is also one that can cause many to add signature tracking to the packages due to how many apartment complexes choose to handle their mail.
On a positive note, i finally have enough points for a beta mox.:)

Anyone from the US have experience receiving cards from Argentina? I think I remember hearing that their mail system over there is a black hole (or maybe I'm confusing it with another South American country), but wondering if that extends to receiving cards as well.
My experience with Argentina is that stuff gets to me in 2.5-3 weeks. And stuff I sent is still in transit 6 years later. So, I don't even bother.
I wanted your opinion on something... The attached image is what my current "receiving" page looks like. Did my mail carrier forget to deliver around the 4th or did I have a strange string of slow traders in there that lied about their shipping date?
So would some kind person send some Splinter Twins my way? Because it seems like there isn't really any demand for them. But I'm still waiting for someone to initiate a trade for them.

Please don't solicit for cards here. Thanks!

Are any of those coming from Australia, Gal?
Australian post slows to a crawl at this time of year - we're all buying our Christmas presents from the US over the Intarwebz, so the postal service goes nova processing everyone's parcels.
Post into and out of Melbourne seems particularly slow ATM. I had one arrive from there on November 10th, postmarked October 28th. It's normally a three-day journey from my side of the country to Melbourne, and that took 13. I've currently got one going the other way that I sent on the 5th and hasn't arrived yet. No such issues with any of my other parcels ATM...
Is anyone else noticing that it's getting harder to get your Puca wants fulfilled? I've had multiple cards worth more than the price of postage sit on my want list for weeks unfulfilled lately. I'm talking about $2 cards that are neither eternal staples nor speculation targets, just fodder for new EDH decks. For example, I actually had an easier time getting a revised Taiga than an M13 Rootbound Crag last month. I ended up abandoning my search for a Crag and just buying it outright to get over the free shipping threshold on a channelfireball order instead.
In the past, $2 casual cards from recent sets would be filled faster than I could blink. I also see things on my "send a card" page for multiple days that I don't really want to trade, but would normally be gone faster than I could click send.
I'm not really sure what to attribute this to. Possibly some sort of inflation in the Puca economy that has made points less desirable? It has certainly impacted me, as I'm less motivated to send knowing that I might not be able to spend my points easily.
When seeking older low value cards, keep in mind that many people don't add them to their Haves list because they'd consider them essentially dollar rares. If there are multiple printings, you can try to overcome this by adding multiple printings to your Wants and then making a note in your profile and keeping track to avoid getting 10 copies at once. The upcoming site change should make that approach transparent.
It may also be that older players don't like to trade away potential staples like Lands, even if they are lower value. I'm never going to dump my old ones - I have exact playsets and occasionally use one in Modern or EDH. People on Puca tend to be people who want to keep playable cards around, even if they aren't using them now. You have better luck getting an expensive useful card (they want the points) than a "useless" cheap card that the owner may want eventually.
Puca essentially assumes that you get free postage on everything.
A lot of the point totals on cards have been very conservative on their part recently (low) which means people just aren't going to bother a lot of the time.
It's only when something is useless to you and difficult to move in the local trading scene that you want to cop that postage hit.
I know that Puca doesn't want people being able to buy cards at around the retail price and send them off for point profits but without an official bounty/bonus system allowing you to pay more for cards you want urgently we're going to see wants outweigh sends* (not haves because haves don't mean anything).
I have cards on my have list that are owned by friends or just to keep an eye on the point value. I might have the cards but it doesn't mean I want to send the cards.
