I just came across an unlimited living wall Richard Garfield altered to include "flying" about 20 years ago. It's also signed by him and in nm condition. Does this have any value and if so, what's the ballpark guess?
Casual rules have it that alterations made to cards by Richard Garfield are considered part of the card. So, I guess it's better than regular Living Wall at the kitchen table, but I don't think that much pecuniary value would be added to it.
Thanks for the response. Think its worth more than 100? If not, I'm probably gonna just give it to some kid at my lgs who will enjoy it more than I have.

As in 100 dollars? Certainly not. Considering the relatively low value of Living Wall, I'd hazard that you wouldn't get more than a dollar or three for it. Maybe you can trick some new player into thinking that it's worth more than it is, but excepting that, I'd just give it to a kid, yeah.

"I see apocalypse. Apocalypse of not only this world but every world. I see the very end of creation heralded on black wings. Light will fall, and He shall rise.
I think the big problem with any card that's been signed and altered by Richard when talking about a cash value is pretty simple....unlike many of the other rarer sigs/alters from other artists out there he's more then willing to "freely" grab a pen and jot something down for a fan.
Basically the're just too many examples from him, you might be able to add $5-$10 bucks on the card assuming you have a person who's highly interested in your card/product...otherwise consider his efforts like a drop of water on a rainy day...you see a lot of the buy product out there on the market for almost nothing ($$$).

Right, but he's pretty hard to find, from what I've seen. I have run across Garfield once, and got a few cards signed. He seemed cool.
Not to hijack the thread, but I do have a Mishra's Workshop that was signed by Richard and he crossed out the can only be used for artifact clause. Any idea what thats worth?

Whatever somebody will pay for it. I honestly don't think there is a better answer. It's just far too unique to put a firm price on it. If you are looking to sell it, put it on Ebay with a reserve and see where it goes.

$5 tops.
If you have a favorite LGS, the owner of which you actually like, I'd have him put it in the case/on a wall.
"{t}: Deals 20 damage to target player."
So, if someone people really play with those "RG did it so it counts" rules, I'd love to see the owner of those show up.
[GTC] Gatecrash Patch for MWS (249/249)
See. It has value. We already have an auction.
Too bad it's not an ornithopter that he could have added "sacrifice for 4 colorless mana"
