I am going out on a limb and say it is right about where it should be. It may eventually be a $3 card at most, but it's pretty well known that WOTC hates on Simic colors with. To be forced to play Simic colors is a drawback with nothing too insane for Simic from RTR block. However, it's a limited bomb and absolutely nasty in EDH from what I've seen at least.
EDIT: In a lot of ways it's like Crypt Ghast. Both cards are asking to be broken but nothing really is there to support them. We will have to wait until the next sets to find out if the Prophet can go off or not.
Honestly it just needs the lands. Having played against it, it's better than Aetherling at being elusive except it makes their whole board elusive. IMO it'll be $5-6 bucks at least with a new set or two.
Ashen rider is comparable to Angel of Despair, which currently at $5, but considering Angel is rare and Ashen is a mythic and probably a better card as it triggers twice, it may be a good spec target as some people regard it as a bulk mythic and it's under a dollar in some places currently. Also there will obviously be a reanimation deck at some point with more support in future sets, especially Nyx. Angel of Serenity used to be pricy and I can see Ashen Rider approaching that price range by the summer. Could be a Dega Reanimator in addition to Junk since they hinted at Reanimation with Underworld Cerberus, in which case Pack Rat is an awesome discard outlet and even though this thread is about Theros, it may not be just a mono black fad.
Going down. The "problem" is that it was incredibly hyped, and so came out of the gates really high. As supply increases over the next 6 months or so, it'll go down. It may not fall much further, but people already want it so it doesn't have much room to grow.
I think with Kiora, Prophet of Kruphix is likely to rise, untap abilities to keep mana for defense until krakens? yes please
If you're talking competitive magic, let me be one of the first to reassure you that Kiora won't be viable unless aggro suddenly dies out for the rest of this block and the next.
Casual wise, sure, I could see people building a Janky UG deck with prophet and Kiora. It could bump up the price of prophet by .50 cents
It's clear how much Bile Blight rains on her parade (of soldiers) and this card will be around as long as she is.
I think this will mean Stormbreath Dragon goes up as it's simply the best mythic in the set.
I think Ashiok and Xenagos might yet find a home as they're powerful walkers and will be around for a while. If they suddenly spike in popularity due to new cards you'll want to already have them.
The Gods? Well Thassa might fall a couple of dollars and Erebos might bridge the gap as he cements himself as the solid card draw engine black needs especially after rotation.

No, that just means don't speculate on one of the top-dollar cards. Lower-value Theros cards do have room to move up.

People are feeling the pressure of their shocklands rotating and want to stock up on their playsets.
I don't think they will go too high but I think they are worth at least 50% more of what they are right now.
