I mean it certainly wouldn't be out of the question in my mind, especially with feuding clans from different places, it is just funny because almost anything in the world can bring someone around saying "OMG fetches reprint!" like when they announced extra cards in the core set that turned out to be uncommons, etc. It is just funny how people start to see ways for them to get what they want badly.

While Aaron didn't specifically say, "fetches are not coming soon," the tone translates to, "they weren't on our radar, so they aren't originally planned within 2 years because we have to world plan it." It takes years to include cards into sets.

Zendikar fetches haven't been prohibitively expensive for that long, but they had to start thinking about allied fetches at exactly the same time as enemy fetches...
"Hey, let's complete that cycle."
"Cool. Do we do all 10 or just the 5 we don't have?"
"Just the 5, but have you seen the prices on the Onslught lands? Ridiculous. We should fix that too."
"Of course, but wait a couple years after Zendikar. We'll give modern a full array of shocks first and then we skip a block and give them the fetches too."
"That makes a lot of sense - don't want fetches and shocks in Standard at the same time but a $500 mana base will kill modern faster than banning _______, __________, and __________."
There is part of me that just can't imagine this conversation NOT happening. They don't need to innovate all the time - rehashing old stuff that we vocally want is just as good. It also gives us the perceive vision of value and makes us buy product like morons... so we all win.

Oh, I 100% agree with you, but I don't believe it's in the next set, or the one after, but in 3 sets. I think they are on a cycle, so something like 5-7 years after the first Zen visit, we'll be back and we'll get our other 5 fetches. But I don't believe it's in Khans, or the next set.
Within in that range, yes, but then from Aaron's answer, not coming soon, so probably 7 years.
And I hope I'm wrong. I want all the new fetches. I'm never going to make the same mistake again by getting rid of ones I'm not immediately using. Boy was I stupid.
They should make a god fetchland and make it uncommon
Super land
Tap, sacrifice, and pay 3 life. Search your library for any land that can produce 2 or more colors and put it on the battlefield.
Or better yet just print 1 fetchland per set for the next 10 sets with blue ones coming last lol. I agree fetch prices are pretty high but this game has exploded over the past 5 years. I remember at GP Columbus saying I'll never pay $1000+ for a deck....that's now out the window.
My wife watched some dumb cop/PI/CIS show and the assistant was a magic player. There was one time where he got pissed off because she moved his planeswalkers.
LOL, that's when you know a game is getting big. When it's featured on shows.
Gals, did you hear that I would be willing to sell you for 20 of the new judge promo lands from Terese Nielson?
They are so damn nice. They're gonna end up stupid expensive like Guru lands though
I want the panoramic framed and on my wall ASAP though
Oh and btw you know at least one more person from twitch I saw you guys talking the other day on oarsmans channel but couldn't reply from my phone lol
LOL that's 3 people on Twitch then. That's awesome. I want those lands pretty badly. I'm thinking about becoming a judge, but I don't know how the rewards program goes, lol. I want to be a judge just for promos.
Conspiracy reprint spoilers just got me a little hyped for the set. I could care less about the drafting aspect, though if I bought a box I would probably draft it for fun. However, I have wanted both Exploration and Misdirection for a long time, Misdirection just never happened though it isn't too expensive (or wasn't last I checked?) but I have always wanted an Exploration (as has my dad) and it was always out of price range for a card we probably wouldn't play that much. I am excited to get my hands on both. The Rout is great also, I love the art and I could use one for Commander.

Security breach happened around late February to early March according to this source. The hackers probably already have taken all the information they needed.

If you have any foil 7ED Island #334 I am very interested!
Marketing pictures are pretty cool looking though, cautiously optimistic here. Dragons don't really excite me though, tbh.
It does look like an interesting set though, but I think I'll be putting my money into Conspiracy this summer.
Why not? It would make sense to me... mostly because I can't think of a reason not to.

I am too. He's passionate about Magic, and I am rooting for him now.
Now, if only he would play more Legacy.

Personally, I have no idea. I don't care one way or another, but it seems like a good business move on their part.
