Pile B:
Second Harvest
FOIL From Under the Floorboards
Gisa and Geralf
Mox Opal (MM2)
4x Kolaghan's Command
FOIL Sylvan Advocate
Languish Prerelease
Languish Game Day
Elesh Norn (MM2)
Heron's Grace Champion Game Day
Tectonic Edge (EXP)
2x Liliana, the Last Hope
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn (MMA)
FOIL Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre (MM2)
Ajani, Mentor of Heroes
Alhammarret's Archive
Both sides are about even; I'm just wondering about futures.
I would go with pile B here. All of the foils and game day stuff are far more likely to survive reprinting. Expeditions are always good. Also, I'm very bullish on Kolaghan's Command. That card is just bonkers in a couple of decks and just wrecks others. Additionally, the most expensive cards you're trading away (Horizon Canopy) has such a huge reprint target on its back that it's almost certain to happen in the next year or two. The only cards you're trading away that I would be hesitant on are Flagstones of Trokair and Scavenging Ooze. Other than that, you're getting a lot better than you're giving in the long run.
A:
True name nemesis
Prerelease Spanish Jace, vryns prodigy
Foil Tamiyo the moon sage
Snapcaster Mage
Cryptic command
Foil Nykthos, shrine to nyx
Mystic confluence
Minds eye
Foil magistrate Sphinx
(FTV) senseis divining top
B:
(EXP) godless shrine
(EXP) marsh flats
Foil senseis divining top (kamigawa)
Foil Sorin, solem visiter
3 Foil BFZ full art swamps
Foil ashen rider
Pile A seems more useful, but I like the long-term prospects of Pile B better. Expeditions (especially a fetch, even if it's not a blue one) and the original foil SDT are EDH gold, and will only increase in value. I pick B.
B:
x2 Bayou (Revised)
x1 Tropical Island (Revised)
All duals are Played to Slight Played.
I'm going to say probably pile B here, but it REALLY depends on the condition of the duals. And this one's definitely more of a "well, you're not losing either way" trade. Someone's getting a very nice piece of pimp for a legacy deck, and someone else is getting a solid start on a manabase for two other legacy decks. My personal opinion is that I'd go for the revised duals because utility outweighs pimp, but that's entirely personal. Also, I may be thinking of them in better condition than they are. If they're beat up and scuffed, then I might go for the Force.
I agree with KnickM. On the first trade, it's easily B for long term value. Outside of maybe Jace, you're not giving up anything that isn't replaceable. The stuff you're getting back is far more reprint proof.
On the second trade, I actually think even if the duals are moderately played, they are still the way to go. Yes a foil EMA Force is sweet, but you're half way to a legacy land base with one trade. Duals, even dinged up ones, are about as solid an investment you'll get. I would think that in trade you're paying a premium just to get them. most of the people in my area won't let duals go unless its for something else on the RL. Getting it for something that was just reprinted (albeit a very sweet reprint) is still a good deal.

Thanks. I was mostly worried about trading into the two Lilis - that card just spiked, and I'm not too keen on standard spiking cards, even if they are just going back into my binder. But you're definitely right about the Horizon Canopy - the only twinge I felt in giving those up was that a reprint might not have the same amazing art.

I understand your concern, but a 3 mana planeswalker that is viable will certainly get a thorough look-see in both modern and legacy. There is some risk there, but it should hold its value another full year through the standard cycle. If it doesn't pan out through modern season you'll still have an opportunity to move it before the bottom drops out.
Went with pile B. I already had a foil signed Jitte from kamigawa so it made sense to add the other heavyweight foil. I traded a blue EDH deck for the 8 cards. Total value of my EDH was 400 while pile B was 340 but i still came out way ahead since it's hard to try to sell a whole deck and probably wouldn't even get 30@ for it. Pimping out Kaalia ATM.
If they're all NM, I'd take the Cradle. Cradle is pretty much a blue dual at this point, and will stay that way as long as Elves is a thing in Legacy.
I concur. Gaea's Cradle, like Serra's Sanctum and Tolarian Academy will only get better as more cards are released and other ways to break the card are realized. Even if Elves dies off in Legacy, there is no other card in existence that comes close to what a Cradle does and its effect is completely irreplaceable.
pile B v2: Polluted Delta (Khans)
+ some other card in 10-20$ range
all non-foil normal printing
I like trading away the Sanctum Prelate at this time. It's on a new printing high and you won't get as much for it in a month as you can right now. As for the two pile B's, I really would like to know what is the other card in the $10-$20 range and what your needs/deck requirements are. If you've got a burn or suicide zoo list, I'd snap off the guide in a heartbeat. If you're simply looking for value, then I think B v2 (Depending on the other card) is the way to go.
pile C: Polluted Delta (Khans)
+ some other card in 10-20$ range
all non-foil normal printing
I guess I'd go for Pile C, since I think that Delta is unlikely to be reprinted in the near future, and is an incredibly useful card. It's a little vague, obviously, but it has the most useful, most long-term prospects, I think, so long as your $10-$20 balancer doesn't suck.

pile B:
a BUNCH of cards, for example quirky commander cards, missing standard rare duals, some foils for collection.
it would be a HEAVY downtrade for me, which i can afford this time, as i usually uptrade, but i'm interested mostly in the possibilities of Collective Defiance outside of standard
A lot hinges on your future use for Daretti. If you have a use for him in an EDH deck then I'd pick that pile. If you don't, then I like pile B in the longer term. Spanish cards generally are worth a bit less than English so that doesn't really help, but as a card it's still very strong.

Without knowing which cards you're getting we really have no idea on how to speculate. If you'd give us a list we could help give our opinions on speculations of cards.

Is that right? It's REALLY helpful if you can post the exact trade (or even "A, B, C, and some junk filler for D, E, and some junk filler" - don't feel the need to list every fifty-cent rare if you're sure it's jank, but as you've posted it I'm not even 100% certain which side of this trade gets the Top).
Collective Defiance looks like a pretty solid card for Nekusar EDH, so I wouldn't count on it crashing if it doesn't pan out in Standard.
Defiance is $7, Arena won't go below the $2.50 it's at now, Hangarback also seems like it's at a low, at $2. SDT is, we'll say, $17. I like getting in on Pile A right now, but by the numbers Pile B is just way better - it's almost twice as much. Pile A has some serious catching up to do, even if we do expect those cards to go up a bit. I take the Top.

i am giving A for B
we draft a lot, and chances of me getting a defiance is much higher.
hangarback was printed in event deck
arena maybe has some hype because of alternate artwork

Okay. If those are the piles, my opinion stands - take the Top. Arena has zero hype because of the alt-art - it's a very playable card, and the original Apocalypse printing is the one that has the hype. Hangarback is flirting with Modern Affinity, so while the price is currently depressed it's entirely possible that it could rotate into use and go up a bit. But the Top is still your best option by far here.

Congratulations on being bitten by the Legacy bug. Pile B, easy.
Even if the numbers lined up (which they don't - Pile B is worth way more), FoW just got reprinted and the price didn't budge. It's not a Legacy staple, it's a Legacy requirement.

some other stuff i don't really care of

KTK Polluted Delta
foreign Counterbalance
+some minor useful stuff
What language is the Counterbalance?

Collective Defiance foil (non-promo)
2 Hangarback Walker
Phyrexian Arena (conspiracy)

Collective Defiance (non-promo)
2 Hangarback Walker
Phyrexian Arena (conspiracy)

Consecrated Sphinx
pile B:
Sensei's Divining Top (kamigawa)
Top? I guess? Mostly because it just got reprinted, so it's less likely to get clobbered by another reprint.
Honestly, take whichever one you will use. Neither of these has great long-term potential.
five KTK non-blue non-foil fetches
