Here's a deal I think I did well on over the past weekend.
Pile A
Geist of Saint traft
Spell Snare
Mox Opal
Gilt Leaf Palace
Meddlig Mage
Evolutionary Leap
Pile B
Stoneforge Mystic
Cash $60
I'm also debating on selling some cards that I tried to speculate on, but don't seem to be going anywhere or seemed to have reached their ceiling.
Some of the cards I'm thinking of selling.
KTK Fetches?
Atarka's Command
Anafenza, the foremost
Mantis Rider
Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker
Seems like a good sale on your part. As far as the other cards, I don't think that the fetches are going anywhere for a while, but offloading the other KTK cards now seems like a good call. Atarka's Command MIGHT end up being a real thing in Modern, but not at its current price.
Pile A
Polluted Delta
Sacred Foundry
Omnath, Locus of Rage
Pile B
Drowned Catacomb
Consuming Aberration
Door of Destinies
Hellkite Tyrant
Reforge the Soul
Elbrus, the Binding Blade
Skaab Ruinator
Sage of Hours
Buried Alive
Chromanticore
Life's Finale
Prototype Portal
Harvester of Souls x2
Laboratory Maniac x2
Myr Superion x4
Dictate of Kruphix
Whip of Erebos x3
Dictate of Erebos x4
Erebos, God of the Dead x2
I like Pile A here. Lot of casual staples in Pile B, but Polluted Delta is just a cross-format all-star. I'm not going to look up all the prices of Pile B, but I can't see it adding up to enough.

Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

It actually adds up to $60+ since they're all $1 or more.

So I guess the question then becomes, do you need Pile B? Theoretical value is great, but if you're trading for value then you need to be able to use it or move it. If Pile B is a bunch of cards that have homes in decks, great. You saved yourself the cost of buying them by trading for them at about half value. And that's definitely a good thing. If there's no specific use in mind for Pile B, though, I'd still go with Pile A. Yes, it's worth half as much on paper, but it'll be significantly easier to move.

That's actually where i'm at a lost since that trade was part of Pack to Power and i don't know if i did good by trading away the shock and fetch.

That's going to depend on your local meta. Since you're determined to trade these things away and not sell them, I'd try to make sure that it's stuff your local players want. Otherwise, it'll just rot in your binder while people look for the high value stuff.
Personally, knowing now that you're doing a pack-to-power challenge (idle curiosity - are you actually trying to get a piece of power, or just something big like a revised dual? PM me), what I'd do is try to focus on cards that your local meta wants. If you're going to travel to big events, that probably means staples like fetches and shocks. Avoid stuff that'll just rot in your trade binder. Some of those cards have been in my binder for years, so while they might have value, they aren't worth it to anyone around here. Maybe they'll move better where you are - I don't know.

Depends what you need. It's a pretty good deal on the fetches at current prices and you're getting blue zen fetches at about $40 each at pre-BFZ prices, which isn't too bad either. However, if I needed the $300 quickly, I'd be pretty fine selling the lot for that to one person in cash or PayPal gift.

I'd agree with world. When you have one tarn you can really only use it in a commander deck, but with a playset of foil fetches you have one of the most expensive parts of foiling out a modern deck. Also it's just more playable.

At this point I stop and ask. You have a Scalding Tarn expedition, and you're trying to get the best deal for it? What do you want? Are you trying to trade for value, for something for a deck, or what? If you tell us your goals, we can help you more.
Right now, Pile B looks better, from a strictly financial perspective. If you're looking for a value trade, this is a fine trade.
