I will give pile A and take pile B.
Any thought about this ?
Problem I would have would be getting three more FoW.....
I would take Force honestly. But I'm not big on foriegn foils personally. I know others really value the pimpness especially of Russian foils. I think it just comes down to what you personally value more.
Only doing this trade from a financial point of view by the way (I do not need either clique nor Karakas to play)
Thanks a lot!!
Karakas is about $40 more than clique right now and Clique is on its third printing meaning WotC wants its price kept in check. I'm willing to bet Karakas will never see the printing press again so that price probably will go up.
You're already loosing and can see you loosing more in time, no way I take that trade.

I concur wholeheartedly here. While the Judge printings don't entirely follow the normal rules, there are rules, and until Karakas is banned in Legacy, the value of that copy will stay high. It's the only foil copy of a card that's pretty essential against Emrakul and Griselbrand. There are now four different foils of V. Clique, and while the Judge is the "best" one, the other three versions take a lot of the pressure off.
Keep the Karakas.

Once again (sorry, i just got back to MTG and don't really know the fair values anymore...)
Pile A : 1 blue Ugin (foil DCI)
vs
pile B : 2 misty rainforest & 2 verdant cata'
Don't really know if this Ugin is worth that much and has the potential to grow... :/
Thanks!!!
Kinda depends on how you like to play; getting the fetches would be great because that's a nice batch of them and are good for competitive play; however, the potential of a reprint will make the prices crash. Furthermore, honestly, sometimes you can play with substitute fetches so you don't always need those exact ones. Lastly, Ugin's mid price on TCGPlayer is higher by about $20-25 -- give or take. And I don't see that Ugin's artwork being reprinted again anytime soon.
So I think keeping/taking the Ugin here is better, as it's rarer, and priced higher than the combined fetches. And I think it's more stable in price. The flip side is that it's probably harder to move because it's so pricey and there's a cheaper alternative (and people might not want it unless it's discounted or whatever). I'd keep the Ugin, personally, since it's a nice collector's card. Though if you play a lot, then you might be better served by the fetches.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Yeah sorry, I mean the promo one (I thought it was a foil one actually)
What is your use case for the fetches? If you're going to put them into a Modern deck NOW, there is some value to the time that you save. I would personally keep the promo Ugin, because it's only going to go up, while the fetches will go down with the inevitable reprint (which is highly speculated to be in October). The promo Ugin will never be reprinted, and as we've seen with Book Jace, unique and rare promo cards tend to go up, even if there's a functionally identical reprint. No matter how many times Jace Beleren gets reprinted in core sets or duel decks, Book Jace continues to go up.

So Snapcaster Mage is a thing now...stupid expensive, I picked up 3 of them at $25 earlier this year and I need to finish my playset. Is it worth finishing now? I have this for a trade offer but I don't know if it's going to go back down anytime soon...whatcha think

What's an Underground Tomb? Overgrown Tomb? Underground River?
The word on Snapcaster is that it's a fantastic card that's heavily played in Modern and Legacy and it won't be reprinted in any quantity for at least 2 years. So it has three possible trajectories - down, stable, and up.
Down: there's really only one way that it's going down, and that's being hit with the banhammer. And even then, if it gets banned in Modern and not Legacy, that will only indicate that it's less likely to be reprinted as part of a Modern Masters. So, it's not really likely to go down.
Stable: The price has shot up already, and it's Modern season. People have bought the ones that they need already. If the playerbase sustains, and doesn't get another bump from Modern Masters II, it'll sustain.
Up: If there's another new deck that needs him, or if there's an influx of new players, then people will have to buy more, and that means his price will go up.
Personally, I think he'll sustain. I don't think that there will be an influx of new players, so I don't really think that he'll go up. That's really just an opinion, though. If you do need a fourth, I'd wait until the fall, when Modern season is over. Modern cards drop a small bit, and if you can wait I would advise doing so.
If you can't (and presuming that you meant Overgrown Tomb), I'd say that you're giving up a bit much. I would try to get the Mentor out of the deal if you can.

I agree with Knick's assessment that you're giving up too much, but I think Monastery Mentor is probably one of the things I'd try to keep in the deal. I'd try to remove a shockland if possible.

I had 2 options earlier today.
Pile A:
Batterskull (New Phyrexia foil, Light Play/scratched)
Tasigur, the Golden Fang
Pile B:
Fulminator Mage x2 (MMA)
Or
Pile A:
Batterskull (New Phyrexia foil, Light Play/scratched)
$5 Card (Tasigur or whatever)
Pile B:
Karn Liberated (MMA)
I ended up going with the Fulminators, but what do you guys think?
Here's what I would have picked in this order.
1. Pile A
2. Karn
3. 2 Fulminators
Pack foil Batterskull is the hardest item here to come by. Sure it was reprinted as a GP foil, but pack foils especially chase mythics hold serious weight in my book. That being said, if I'm trading away a foil Batterskull it better be for some equally heavy items. I just don't think 2 Fulminators fits that bill in my book unless you really needed them for a deck or something. Both Fulminator and Karn have been reprinted in the latest MMA set meaning their prices are probably at their lowest but will take some time to get back up. Just my thoughts however.
Card tags go inside the Foil tags, otherwise you just end up tagging the actual card "Foil".
I actually like Pile A on this, long-term. Pile B is better now, but I don't see it holding up as well two years down the line. If your goal is short-term gain, Pile B is a good pickup. If your goal is to cash out your expensive foil Standard mythic, I like Pile A and you can probably actually hold out for a little bit more.
