I'm in the other camp Ugin hasn't stopped going up yet and only gets better with Haven of the Spirit Dragon and who knows what sort of interactions with colorless cards in the upcoming Zendikar set.
Answering monstrous Fleecemane Lion can't be underestimated. It's big game.
Casual and modern appeal with Urza tron.
Will remain a popular card for all time and is in a small set that will quickly fade from the spotlight as people start buying up DTK.
Stoneforge isn't a $35 card last time I checked... well there you go. I'm not a legacy lover though.

Nah, Stoneforge is up to $35 now.
With that said, I'm more inclined to agree with Aether; I don't think it's as clear cut of an answer as KnickM is making it out to be; Fate Reforged could be stacking up to be somewhat like Worldwake in that it's not being opened all that much (I know, I know, not the same thing). Personally, I thought Fate Reforged was awesome. But it's still a middle block set. What this means for Ugin is that it's a fairly popular card -- be it casual or fringe, while not being opened as much as people expect.
I think the trade is fair, but it really depends on what you need/want. Honestly, I'd probably keep Ugin over SFM just because of the fact that it's solid (for the cost) + appeal + middle-block set. SFM is tried and true though, so there's more security there. Just not as much room to grow IMO. It's a card that's been fluctuating between $25-30 for at least a year now. It's gone up a little more as of late, but I can't say if it's gonna go up or down anytime in the near future.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.

It really comes down to what you want to play and in which format. Almost everything on both lists stands a chance of reprinting (with the exception of Berserk..which seems awesome). I think Pile B is better simply due to versatility across formats. I also doubt the reprints of any cards in Pile B will drop hard enough for a solid lose.

+1 Roland does 1 damage to up to 6 target creatures, players or plainswalkers.
-2 Roland twirls a bullet casing. Tap all opponents creatures.
-11 Reset life totals to 20 x the number of activations of this ability. Begin a new game shuffling all cards into owners decks except for Roland who remains in play.
I also doubt the reprints of any cards in Pile B will drop hard enough for a solid lose.
I disagree - we know that 'Goyf is in the new Modern Masters, so there will be an increased supply in a few months. That will drop the price, and dropping the price of 'Goyf by 12.5% drops Pile B from being $100 ahead to even. Pile A, as a fully-foiled Affinity deck, is more reprint-resistant, even though it's quite likely that some pieces (Etched Champion is confirmed, Mox Opal is extremely likely) will be reprinted. Remembering Vendilion Clique, I don't recall the new printing causing the original foil to dip, just the original nonfoil.
It's really hard to say, especially now, three months before a new Modern Masters hits the street. I'm EXTREMELY leery of trading into expensive Modern staples right now, Tarmogoyf in particular. I would hold on to the Affinity deck for now. So, if you think that Modern Masters 2015 will drop the price of 'Goyf by 12% or less, go with pile B. If you think that it will drop the price by 13% or more, keep pile A. In what I'm going to emphasize is my opinion, I think it'll probably drop more.

I am more a foil oriented guy so I am leaning more towards pile A. The foil art is very gorgeous and you're getting a card that has more flexibility in play in multiple formats and decks!
survival of the fittest
kitchen finks
containment priest
Pile 2 in a heartbeat. I'd be very surprised if Hierarch wasn't reprinted at rare in MM15. Survival is on the reserved list and will always be in demand from EDH as long as it isn't banned, it's a great pick up. Containment Priest is a staple of white Legacy deck sideboards and should have steady demand as a result, though I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see it reprinted in a Standard set like Scavenging Ooze was. Even if it was guaranteed to be reprinted I'd still take the deal because of Survival.

I'd take the foil Heath here, but wouldn't fault you for taking pile B. I would be surprised if the Sword was reprinted again soon, so it should be fine, but foil fetches are also pretty safe, since the foil value is hoisted more by eternal play. Take whichever would make you happier.
For your first trade, I would personally just not do this trade at all. Trading for prerelease cards before the release seems poor, which is why I definitely want to stay away from pile B, but I also can't see Sylvan Caryatid holding much value after Standard. Pile A is a little safer, since prerelease Tasigur is probably a stronger pickup.
For your second trade, I like Gisa. It's worth almost double, and I don't really see Vorapede ticking up or Gisa dropping too much soon.
Pile A
2 polluted deltas
1 Bloodstained mire
1 Ugin the spirit dragon
Pile b
1 Foil Ugin
All KTK cards
Not gonna lie, I'd take pile B here because I really want a foil Ugin. I also think it's actually fine - foil Ugin is probably going to stay pretty high moving forward, but will also likely be hard to move. Pile A is probably the safer choice, since it contains three fetches.
Pile A:
Flooded Strand x3 (KTK)
Jace, the Mind Sculptor (FTV Foil)
Hymn to Tourach x2 (FTV Foil)
Pile B:
Survival of the Fittest
Jace, the Mind Sculptor (Worldwake)
Ral Zarek
__________
Pile A:
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver
Pile B:
Pharika, God of Affliction
Athreos, God of Passage
Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle
Ashen Rider
First trade: Pile B, for sure. I'd be excited to turn my FtV Jace into a WWK Jace, and Survival is safe (although it's gone up recently already).
Second Trade: If you're planning to play the Ashiok, I like it as a pickup now.
Pile B:
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
Tasigur
Shaman of the Great Hunt
Frontier Siege
Nylea
Icefall Regent
Anger of the Gods
Avatar of the Resolute
Crater Elemental
Dragon Tempest
Foe-Razer Regent
Profaner of the Dead
Profound Journey
Surrak the Hunt Caller
On the one hand, trading for cards from the new set at the prerelease is always a losing endeavor. On the other hand, Goblin Guides are probably going to be reprinted and tank. So, I guess the question is, which side is going to lose less value?

Cythare, yeah i figured both sides would be happy, i actually have the promo ugin so i wanted a foil one to have side by side and i felt like this trade was close enough long and short term, thanks for the response feel better about it now
Avenged- Pile B is definitely better, but if you need the Narsets then I guess that's the price you'll have to pay. Narsets are around 35 a piece. FTV Annihilation is around 35, Ugin is around 30 so Pile B is going to be worth more now and probably later as well.

Really?
Legacy/EDH staple, so good that it's banned in Modern, against still-in-print flavor of the month?
Leave the Dragon. Take the Mystic.

I'm guessing its too big of a lot to see off the top of everyones head. So in summary Pile B has about 100 dollars more value according to tcg low.
