I need the tnn's but im not sure if i should wait and hope they drop. i cannot find any grixis deck for msrp here
You can get Jaces for under $95.
So if you need the TNNs, it's pretty even.
TNN will probably drop if/when a second batch of Commander 2013 decks hits.
You have to decide if you can wait until then. I would expect a $5 or so drop from TNN if demand is still there at the time more are released. If strong demand isn't there, it'll drop further.

The dragon is going into a cube I'm working on and I don't really play enough Standard to justify keeping the MBD cards, so I really am most concerned about making sure that the deal is reasonable; the Hellkite is a bit pricy for something that doesn't really see much play in formats other than fringe playability in Modern.

I'd take the dragon. Underworld Connections and Pack Rat had nearly zero value before Theros, and are at their peak now. No telling if Mono Black will still be a top deck once Born of the Gods is released, so, if you don't need those cards now, trade 'em to get what you need. Plus, Mythic dragons tend to hold some value longer-term.

I like the Thundermaw Hellkite here. I know those MBD cards spiked but they are much easier to find and were jank rares until a short time ago. The Hellkite is a casual favorite, played in Kaalia decks and a dragon which makes him collectible.

how far do you think tnn will drop if there isn't much demand? like your estimated max

It could drop a fair bit, possibly into the 10-15 range, but given how much it is seeing play at present, I feel that the only real risk to TNN is a Legacy ban, and I don't see that happening anytime in the near future; there is enough diversity in the Legacy card pool such that decks with good answers to TNN (said answers include Pernicious Deed, Supreme Verdict, Liliana of the Veil, Toxic Deluge, Innocent Blood, to name a few, as well as any counterspell or discard effect) or that just don't care about TNN (fast combo, SnT) will be able to keep the Merfolk Rogue in check.
But I think that it is too good at carrying equipment for U/x decks (Delver, Stoneblade, and especially 'Folk) that short of a Legacy ban or a mass reprinting of TNN in a future set, the price seems pretty stable to me.

DRS is about $12 each, Abrupt Decay $5. Both are good long-term holds. Darksteel Vials can be found for $25, and the MM printing has suppressed the price again. I like Pile A here, but not by a landslide or anything. I guess it comes down to the condition of the cards - if LP is enough to take a few bucks off, or if they're really nice LP.

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
I just went to eBay to check how the Ooze was doing and found several playsets for $20 (granted, it was the promo, but whatever). I'd buy that all day if I got to trade 3 of them for 4 Breeding Pool.

So it's about $34.60 for the pools and $30 for the Ooze's(TCG mid). Would it be fair if a rakdos's return was thrown into pile B? Long term how are the prices of both, seems ooze could go up put breeding could as well.

I think Breeding Pool will go up sooner than Ooze will as the shocks are the backbone of Modern and will be for the foreseeable future. I'd take the Pools all day in that deal.

ok, well I'd be trading the 4 Breeding Pools. I got them off ebay for $24 so I feel getting 3x Ooze was still good. I don't need the Pools anymore and need the Oozes for a deck.
Should I not do the deal at all? Or ask for something else?

When trading cards you don't need for cards you need, I'd hesitate to quash the deal altogether. Just ask for more. Or wait a bit - how soon do you need the Oozes? For this weekend? Accept a suboptimal deal and move on. Christmas? You can do better.

Snap take liliana. Clique is less played and generally less desirable. Liliana is going to tick up faster than clique as well due to being the 2nd best planeswalker in the game.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
Pile B only if you're going to flip Jace for profit because he is going to come down hard when JVV is released. I actually like pile A here for the long run.
Pile a:=112
Steam vents--8
Breeding pool x2--9 each
Stomping grounds x2--9 each
Temple garden--10
Gravecrawler x2--3 each
Geralfs messenger--2
Ancestral vision x2--7 each
Geist of st traft--16
Gurruk wildspeaker--4
Hundres handed one--0
Taurean mauler--2
Thragtusk--2
Murmuring bosk x4--3 each
Telepathy--0
Pile b:=85
Voice of resurgence--35
50$
Looking at TCG mid and rounding to the nearest $, Pile A is about $27 higher. With the trade-up(roughly $24 is in 2-3 dollar cards), + cash, not a horrible deal. I could see it as more even w/ 60-65 cash on Side B, or Side A keeping roughly $15 in cards.
Pile a:
Steam vents $6
Breeding pool x2 $6.50 each
Stomping grounds x2 $6.75 each
Temple garden $7.50
Gravecrawler x2 $2.75 each
Geralfs messenger $1.50
Ancestral vision x2 $6.50 each
Geist of st traft $14
Gurruk wildspeaker $4
Hundres handed one $0
Taurean mauler $2
Thragtusk $2
Murmuring bosk x4 $2 each
Telepathy $0
Total: $90
Pile b: Total: $80
Voice of resurgence $30
50$
Basically you are looking at $90 in cards (via the lower end of nm tcgplayer prices in the quantities and low shipping cost listed) vs. $50 cash and a $30 card. If you value the cash higher, then its a fair enough deal given normal selling costs, if one is simply trying to gain value, then the pile with all the cards is worth about $10 more, all in all.
