It's neat, but sees no real competitive play, thus its demand is only from EDH. Now, if the card was SUPER miscut (at least being able to see the start of the next card) then you'd have something, but if the only problem is a super thick border, I don't think it'd be worth much else unless you found someone who needed a City of Shadows to finish their miscuts-only EDH deck or something.

I just grabbed a M15 Intro Pack with the Indulgent Tormentor upside down. Should I just open it or hold on to it. It's more than likely just a mis-pack obviously, but wanted to see what the consensus was before I just popped it open.
Seriously though guys, I want to crack this open. Can someone give me an answer?
Like the deck is upside down in the packaging? Just open it. If the cards were all reversed however, as in upsidedown cards but normal backs, you have something.
Hey all, pulled a tough one to find comps for. Straight from pack mint foil Russian Tryon Predator. I'm estimating $150+ area given the scarcity and how good of shape it is in, but can anyone let me know if I'm way off here? Can post a pic later today.
Also, what do people think is the best way to sell an incredibly valuable collection if trying to purge all at once? I'd rather not sell piecemeal via ebay, but don't want to sell for 40% of value. I'm talking beta p9, 4x of every dual, 4x NM Tabernacle 4x NM foil rishadan port, 4x NM mpr wasteland, guru set, every judge promo, etc. It would be bigger than the largest collection sale I've ever seen on ebay, and I'd like to figure out how to get it done without having to let go of cards like the aforementioned Russian foil Trygon at $2 allocated value. Not possible maybe?

Take the time to split it up and slowly sell it out for the best return. If you try to make it into a large collection sale at once, expect to take a huge hit.
I was wondering what the verdict is on very slight miscuts of Rishadan Port?
The top 2 are references from my collection of "normal cut". They both have a right border about 7.5mm in thickness. The bottom 2 are both slightly miscut. The bottom right card's right border i about 7mm in thickness, while the bottom left card is more skewed, being about 6mm in thickness for the right border. Or to put it another way, I estimate that the frame is shifted to the right about 19% on the bottom left example, and about 8% on the bottom right example.
Are these not "miscut enough" to make a difference in value? I didn't intend to acquire miscut examples of this card, they just happened to look a little off to my eye after I traded for them, and I took some measurements, and was curious about what I'm seeing.
I'd say no premium on the Ports. Not off centered enough.

Thanks!
On a staple like Port, the guidelines are a little more flexible, but you're really not going to get any premium unless one border is gone. On a "normal" card, you're going to need to see at least a sliver of another card, and it's much better if that card is identifiable. These aren't miscut enough.

Thanks, I'm sure you're right. It's probably going to be a nightmare trying to sell with a 80+ hour workweek, but worth it in the long run. Appreciate the advice.
I picked up a Korean Mishra's Factory. It's black bordered, has no set symbol, and is what I believe is either the Fall or Summer artwork - not quite sure, but whatever the most common one is. I was wondering if anyone had an approximation on price? I haven't been able to find anything on it.
I also got a playset of Chinese Nimble Mongooses, as well as two Rancors from Urza's Legacy that I believe are Japanese. Would love to know pricing.

Most common is autumn. There's one on the big auction site for $12 BIN, and quite a few on MKM around the 10-12 €, so around $15 seems right.
Chinese cards generally have no premium, and are worth the same, if not less than english copies.
The japanese rancors might fetch a buck or so higher than english, foreign cards tend to have a low premium if they are not foil, UNLESS the card is not found in X language foil (City of Traitors, Survival of the Fittest, Wasteland, etc)
i was thinking of buying two fbb french or german taiga (not signed) so my lands deck can be black border.
my problem is that i'm not sure how much they are worth. scg doesn't have any, channel fireball has nm french ones at $250. they are also the same price (or best offer) on ebay from buy it now sellers.
when i check the sold listings on ebay its shows a french one sold for $138.59 and another for $202.50 and thats it. if i'm going to try and buy from local traders should i be offering about $202?
Question on a few foreign cards i cant seem to price out, looking for estimated eBay value
1x Foil German Miscalculation
1x Foil Japanese Exclude
\
Anyone?
I can't see the Exclude being worth a whole lot.. Maybe $10 at most, english foils are around 6.
As for the miscalculation, there's a ton on MKM, one german at 12 euros, and a ton of japanese copies around the 10 euro range. That's basically 10-15 USD, which is around the same as an english.

I know, chinese cards generally don't command a premium and are cheaper than their japanese equivalents but is this still the case when it comes to Conspiracy?
I can find japanese cards without having too much of a problem finding what I'm looking for. Chinese cards seem to be a lot harder to come by.
Would you say that chinese cards from Conspiracy are worth much more than the japanese ones?
Especially in Europe, on magiccardmarket there seem to be close to no Chinese CNS cards at all.

Regardless, people usually aren't actively looking for chinese cards. Card pimpers usually want Korean, Russian or Japanese.
You may have one of the few Chinese foil Dack Faydens, but you'll be hard pressed to find a buyer that'll buy it at a premium because of that.
A friend of mine just bought a playset of Badlands and one seems a bit off. The space between the image and the edge of the card is longer than usual. I drew a small red arrow to show the difference, but I'm sure you guys can see it without it. The space seems to be recovered at the bottom, where the image is much closer to the edge than it should be.
Does it change anything in the price of the card? Did he pay too much for it, or did he find a gold nugget?

Might get a small premium to the right guy who think its neat, but nothing extremely rare. It would have to be closer to showing/or showing the next card to be a "gold nugget".
Basically, the top looks like it has 2-3 black borders worth of thickness while the bottom starts with the artist hugging the bottom edge.
I was curious if it was correct that this card had some extra value being miscut in this way.
I will try to add a picture if my technology and time permits.
Thanks in advance.
