Guy sells his collection for 150 euros, i think i can get him lower than that.
Cards are organized by color not by rarity so I am having trouble finding anything noteworthy. Am I missing anything of value apart from City of Traitors ? Look at the pics and help me decide if I should buy.

I skimmed the lists. I wouldn't bite. It looks like almost entirely C/UC junk, so you would basically be paying for the City and the privilege of finding some way to get rid of all the trash. Seeing as City is going for 80 euro on MCM, you could probably get everything of note in there for about 90.

Missed a few things, but it's a bad price regardless. Check MCM - I'm assuming anyone dealing with euros has access to that. City can be had for 100 (forgot condition on earlier post), Eladamri for 6, Earthcraft for 17, Coat of Arms for 3. 132 for all of those assuming good condition, which is not a sure thing with a collection like this in my experience. Even if you tack on shipping costs, you're not getting up to 150. Unless you actually have a use for or a way to move all of the assorted C/UC junk, you're buying a lot of half a dozen cards with a lot of baggage. I wouldn't buy at anything over 130, assuming you have a use for most of the pricey stuff. Anything more than that and it's cheaper to just buy what you need individually, even before you factor in the time costs to sell off what you don't care about.
If you can use the junk or if you're a higher volume seller (read, someone who can realistically move 5 Counterspells for half a euro each) then go for it. I wouldn't touch it.

I really appreciate the time and effort guys, you are great !
I play commander and I like to search for bargains in old cards. To be honest I won't have any use for the most of the stuff, apart from edh cards of course.
That was a rather old ad, so I emailed the guy and he gave me the old price. I am guessing the pricing is arbitrary. He claims that all cards are in binders etc. I am guessing that he is a retired player who has poor knowledge of secondary market (something not very uncommon in my country). I am torn between this or buying sealed Kaladesh or Conspiracy box, for the fun of cracking packs. I guess I will try to see how low he is willing to go. Oh, there won't be any shipping costs. It will be hand to hand exchange.
Edit: I've never bought cards from outside official or secondary vendors so this adds an extra level of being hesitant.

Wow, didn't realize the price discrepancy was so high on City. I'm willing to look at lists, but I draw the line at looking up prices on a whole list, even if it only ends up being a few cards.
Given that, Weebo's right. Vandertroll, I presume that you're looking at the City to flip it for cards that you can use? Offer him two digits for the lot if they're in NM condition, and if he doesn't take it he doesn't take it. It's an old ad, so either he's not getting any bites and he'll take a low offer just to get something, or he's hidebound and won't budge and it's not worth your time.
Out of curiosity, what country are you from? Here in the US, posting collections for sale is pretty much a guarantee that they'll either be snapped up by a dealer or shark in minutes, or they're just trash. Finding a dude with a City of Traitors is nice.

I am from Greece, where MtG is not the most vibrant gaming scene. There are few LGS in ten or twelve large cities but almost no secondary market. Most players are concentrated on two or three big cities so it is hard to track down collections or even see ads in general.
I am not looking for cards to flip, never done it and I think that the main reason is that there is no way to sell, apart from MKM or ebay. I have had standard playable cards but I couldn't unload them for eternal staples because LGS don't buy singles, and neither the guys I play with or other players that I've occasionally met. So, I just started to scour the greek online ads/forums for potential good bargains.
I am fond of old cards (not C/UC junk obviously) because they remind me my early playing days and because back then it was even harder to find cards, especially where I grew up. The only decks that i consistently use are the ones in my sig. I know that the wise way is to finish them first but I can't resist buying good cards in general

I've just seen a lot of large discrepancies between US and Europe for legacy staples, so I'll check as much out of curiosity as anything else when questions like that come up.
I obviously didn't look too closely at the lists, seeing as I missed every other card of value in them.

Should I preorder Foil Ceremonious Rejections at 5.99 a piece? It seems like it's going to be an all-star for blue sideboards in Modern.
I'm leaning toward no. The days of foil uncommons, especially countermagic, going up in price is pretty much gone. Part of this is how well Blue and countermagic has been in Standard and Modern the last 5-8 years. The other part is probably just the sheer amount of cards in new sets that's opened.
Regarding Ceremonious Rejection specifically, I think the card is good vs. Bant Eldrazi and Affinity. Bant Eldrazi is the number one deck, but you also have to think about what deck would side this in against them. Infect already has a good matchup. There are really not that many "Blue" decks in Modern. I would say maybe Merfolk and Jeskai Nahiri? You really have to think about what deck would side such a card vs. what other deck. That's what will determine the price. Not to mention, SB foils move slower than MB ones. Rest in Peace and Grafdigger's Cage literally took years before spiking in price. People had so many chances to buy those cards at $1 or less. Also, this is my own personal opinion, despite me owning many Modern foils, I don't think it is smart to "invest" in them. I think that it will be a loss in at least 1/2 of the situations. Legacy foils are a different animal.

I think it's really close. I could see it being 9.99. The only options on TCGPlayer currently to preorder it are north of $20.00. One of the matchups you left out was Tron. A matchup that U decks have historically been terrible against. I think this card swings that matchup dramatically.
Could be. Something else to think about is that Modern sideboards are overtaxed. There are not enough cards to side against half of the stuff that you could end up facing. Graveyard hate and artifact hate or ways to fight someone's hate against you comprises a big percentage of everyone's SB in Modern. There are decks that could use this, but do they have space? That is also a good question to ask. For me, I am very careful to speculate on the price of any card that would fit into a Blue deck in Modern. But that's just me. The card is just too narrow to spec for the short term.

I think the Saheeli Rai foil is a keep. It's a legendary that will be tested in modern, printed in very demanded colors, and if it doesn't find a home now, if it does later it will spike, meaning that foil versions will be very valuable. I'd keep it.
A guy at my LGS is selling a playset of Onslaught Flooded Strand at 110 dollars. It's kind of a big hit moneywise for me at this moment, but i really like the cards and if i had 110 dollar to spare i would buy them right away. But my question is if it is a good investment. They (Onslaught fetches) took a big hit being reprinted in KTK, and have been staying in the 30 range, will they go up in price? (I assume they will not be reprinted for another 4-5 years, and the Zendikar fetches will be within 1-2 years) Will they steadily rise in price and hit 50$ again, or the KTK fetches will keep the prices low?
I don't know what to make of the new Chandra. She has more potential outside of standard, but I also struggle to see her keeping her preorder price. Big Jace did well because he was a big part of the worst standard in the last 10 years, homogenizing the format to essentially 1 deck. That makes me believe that unless you plan to utilize her immediately, you will probably be able to pick her up again at some point in the next 6 months or year at a lower price than she is now.

You could be right on Saheeli, but I just don't see her having enough impact in Modern or Legacy to really make an impact on the format. Nothing she does impacts the battlefield and would pretty much require a combo deck built around her to make use of her -2. I'm just struggling to see it occur.
As for Flooded Strand, it's as low as it's going to go barring another reprint. Given how dramatically Khans was opened, I just don't see them being reprinted in the near future and prices will remained depressed for years. My guess is you'll see a modest increase in price over the next 3-5 years, but so many were opened you probably won't see a spike like the Zendikar fetches.
Yeah, about Chandra, Torch of Defiance I picked her up last night in my kit. I ONLY play modern... and I mostly play aggressive or midrange there. I know she "could" be used in jund... but I dont mind rebuying her later if I have to. Does she go UP from here or stay at the price or drop? Should I sell?

Better to ask ya'll than make a guess.
Everyone on here is guessing on the future. Our guesses may be right or wrong. We just give varying points to consider.
On to Chandra, my thought is that the only she will maintain her preorder price is if she takes off and homogenizes standard into more or less 1 type of deck. We've only seen 2 standards like that. One was back with Caw-Blade back about 5 years ago. The other was last year / early this year when we saw baby jace take over and homogenize standard to 4 color goodstuff decks.
Big Jace maintained his price because he is good enough to see play in Legacy, Vintage, Cube, and would have a massive impact in Modern if he wasn't banned.
Little Jace doesn't have the same presence in other formats and his price has reflected it.
That suggests to me that unless the new Chandra is the equivalent of big Jace, she will probably decrease in price. While I think she's a very good card, I don't see her maintaining that price for the next 18 months of standard. Best guess? She'll probably bottom out in the 20's somewhere in her time in standard.
/edit one more note to consider. Big Jace was sold in a middle set (Worldwake) that was poorly opened. Until his reprint in Eternal Masters, there just weren't that many copies floating around. Chandra will have a ton more copies in circulation simply because so many more packs are opened now, and Kaladesh is the big fall set - historically a high selling set.
