Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Hello just did EMA draft and pulled FOW (YAYY) most expensive single card i own(i know its sad QQ)
sell or sit on it?( i got no problem to wait some time is going near my dual land beauty's(cheap ones of)
I pulled a foil Karakas and was wondering if it should be sold or kept? The price is going down, but would it go back up after they stop printing?
Depends on your viewpoint. If you're thinking in the 1 year window, it'll probably go down. If you're looking at a few years down the line, it'll probably maintain. The Judge promo will be an upper bound on the card - it'll always be a less pimp version than the Judge foil.
Anyone know where Foil Force of Will is going? How much would it even go for towards a vendor?
Sparki's right. This is THE card from the set. Move it if you want to trade it for a deck, or sell it for cash if you want to make a car payment, but there's no reason to vendor it.

and about normal force of will?
Normal FoW is never going to be the "best" version, so it's "just" one of the most ubiquitous cards in Legacy. I would say that long-term prospects aren't actually great, and here's why: if WOTC decides to do another Eternal Masters set (and there's no reason that they wouldn't), Force of Will is going to be in that set as well. Force is one of the limiting cards for the Legacy format, and it's one that they can reprint. So we're probably looking at around the upper bound on non-foil Forces until WOTC decides that Eternal Masters sets aren't selling well enough to justify production.
Note that I'm in no way saying that it'll drop. There is real demand for the card, and the price should be pretty stable. We're probably looking at fluctuations of around $15 in either direction.

I pretty much agree with what KnickM is saying. Force of Will is just a must in Legacy. It's also a great card in cubes and EDH. Also, people get hung up on reprinting will absolutely tank the value of cards. Wizards has shown that they do these reprint sets in measured amounts precisely so they do not tank values.
I suppose the real question is what do you want out of the game? Are you interested in playing EDH, building a cube, or getting into Legacy? If the answer to those 3 questions is no, then you should look into trading or selling it for something you will use.
Hey guys, I am curious of where Thorn of Amethyst is going. It looks like it has been going up a few cents everyday. Is it being utilized much?
It's been an occasional feature in legacy sideboards. Most recently, Eldrazi is running them, which is where a lot of the demand is from right now. It's also a rare from a set before the print run increases of recent years, which means any demand will keep the price up. I would expect it to trend up slowly until the inevitable reprint, when it will drop back down.

EMA FOIL sack fayden should I be looking to buy or sell at its price ?
My guess would be sell. Even the original Dack Fayden was not played much. I feel the card spiked more as a novelty of being a Mythic in an unopened and fairly hated set. Now with more copies available, the novelty has worn off.
Don't get me wrong. It's a sweet card, but not legal in Modern, not played in Legacy, and not even barely played in Commander. I'm not sure about Vintage, but I couldn't imagine it being better than average at best.

Dack has exactly 3 uses: Vintage (which he's AWESOME in), EDH (pretty good), and cube. People like the foiled out version because of cube and EDH. If you are planning on building a foiled out EDH or Cube, I'd hold. Otherwise, sell.
@Foodchaingoblins - I play Dack in EDH and some others in my area do as well. He's basically a 3 mana ramp spell that steals someone elses sol ring.

Yeah, I figured in another area it would be played more. In my area, I've never seen Dack Fayden played in any format. In fact, I've rarely seen anyone have one and have seen exactly only 3 foil ones at Dealers when attending large Magic events. So I personally felt that the Conspiracy version was somewhat tough to find compared with the average Standard card. I think in my area, EDH players are trying to do different things that Dack doesn't help all too much with. Also someone told me last night that Sol Ring (and Mana Crypt) are banned in French EDH, which I didn't know. Also I didn't know that tournaments default to French EDH rules. It kind of sucks to me, but I understand the power of those cards.

The last two weeks I cracked Avacyn and Arlinn Kord at FNM. I don't keep up with standard and was wondering whether I should hold or move them.
If you don't keep up with standard, moving it sooner than later is pretty much always the right answer. Arlinn Kord just doesn't seem to get enough support to make her viable. I'd sell her ASAP. Avacyn is a somewhat trickier card to figure. It's possible that she'd slot into a possible Spirits deck to give indestructible. She could easily push back up in price. But her days of $40 are over. You'd do well to move both right now, but I could see Avacyn going up slightly after the first GP for EMN.
Should I buy an EMA foil Vampiric Tutor at $80? Strictly for the cool factor, although I suppose I have several black decks that could use another tutor.

I guess it depends on how much you value the art. The Judge foil is still the pimpest version, but I personally like the art of the new tutor better and would prefer that foil version over the Judge. But that's just me.
There is a lot of cards that someone is selling near me, however I am uncertain about whether it is worth looking in to or if it is likely all bulk. There are a couple of pictures, but I am not familiar with many older cards, so maybe someone can take a look and see if they recognize anything. Here are the pictures

Nothing of value on top. I see a lot of Ice Age cards; could be some pain lands in there. That's as far as I care to speculate - the rest of the visible cards are very random. What's the asking price?

Also keep in mind they are thrown into a box and getting jacked up in condition, lowers the price. I would try to estimate how many cards there are total, and offer them bulk price of 1/8th penny per card.

Beta Cyclopean Tomb , good condition for 35 euro. I am going to ask for scans of course.
P.S Probably not the best thread for it but I want to start picking up reserved list cards for edh. Not the priciest ones (< 50 ) for starters and not for immediate use. Any suggestions?
They are asking $200. It seems like a lot to me, but what's something reasonable to offer, without having to spend an hour sorting through the box?
I'd think that $40 would be the most I'd be willing to risk on that. As Zer0evil mentioned, they're just tossed in a box and a number of them are scratched, bent, etc. Not possibly damaged - it's pretty much guaranteed that some ARE damaged. And every time I think about it, I feel my offer going down.

Those are usually not very good bets. The one thing it has going for it is there isn't a few decent cards on top as a plant to suck you in.
That said, pure unsorted bulk should go for $10-13 per 1000.
KnickM's got it right on at $40 I'd say.
