I just snapbought a Russian foil alesha, who smiles at death for $24. I'm unsure of the value and not quite sure how Russian foil primarily-commander cards are priced. I know Russian foil legacy cards are super valuable, but was this a good pick up? I've never actually purchased foreign foils before but this seemed like a cheap price, maybe?
I lol'ed when I read this, because I am the person who sold it on ebay to you.. I felt like $24 was fair..especially with the Tiny Leaders format taking off, where she is considered one of the best generals.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
It is a variant of traditional commander, start out with less life, less cards, low cmc creatures. Breakdown of the rules below from the official/unofficial facebook page . I've never tried it but it seems like it can be really fun.

Sylvan Library (CA) @$50
Geist of Saint Traft (promo) @32
These are cash prices at a store near me where magic isn't really played/prices are updated seldom. My concern is that they're cash prices - how easy would it be to move these into their newly spiked prices?
I haven't looked up the Sylvan Library, but I think the Geist would be a good buy. I traded mine at the WMCQ for $30 worth of cards and I see that it's spiked from threads here in Marketplace. I'm guessing it's gone up, so that would be a good buy.

Legacy - Sneak Show, BR Reanimator, Miracles, UW Stoneblade
Premodern - Trix, RecSur, Enchantress, Reanimator, Elves https://www.facebook.com/groups/PremodernUSA/ Modern - Neobrand, Hogaak Vine, Elves
Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)
Draft - (I wish I had more time for limited...)
Commander - Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build) (dead format for me)
The filters are hard - they've become popular in all of the EDH circles I play in.
I'm not certain what their playability in Modern is, but I feel like the truth is that these will go up - until they get reprinted.
They are relatively high-demand rare pack-selling lands. They're certainly not shocks or fetches - and they're largely useless if played first turn.
I presume that they don't get played in quantities of more than 1 or 2 in any modern decks, I'd presume they'd be a tricky sell as playsets.
So I don't think they will climb steeply, nor will they be particularly easy to move.
That said - if you need these or have a buyer for some, your buy price makes these average what ? 12$ each ? That's a Tempting Offer.
That depends - do you need the whole set? Personally, I wouldn't - you're paying a lot for fluff that you probably don't need. But if you are a collector who completely missed any Modern Masters, then that doesn't sound like a horrible price for getting the whole thing in one go. The money mythics do add up fast.
My turn - should I buy a foil KTK Wooded Foothills for $40? Or should I be waiting either for another couple weeks to go by, and Khans to be at maximum open, or rotation?

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
I would buy that Dack. I paid 240$ shipped about five months ago and thought it was a great price. Conspiracy foils are pretty rare and not that many new copies will be opened. Dack is also played in Vintage and in some Legacy brews, so the foil should at minimum stay level in value, but most likely go up. I also bought a foil set of Notion Thiefs, so I at least believe in Dack synergies.

Snap buy and don't look back?
Unless it's beat up or something, that's a great price.

Probably a decent pickup if Tiny Leaders gets big. I think he's the only Jeskai leader available in the format.

I would take the cash. That's around $81 and change for each? That's a pretty good deal as I don't see Liliy hanging around $80 for too long.

Depends on condition. NM, no way. SP, probably not. HP, yeah, I can see that.

Thanks all, I did pick him up. Last one I needed for my foil planeswalker collection so that also motivated me to make the plunge.
