Judge Foil in my opinion. As a Foil-****, I am biased into thinking that the foil is likely to go up more dramatically. Also as a paranoid personality, Foils might be harder to make illegal copies of (with all the scare about really good foreign copies coming into the market) so you know that you have a legitimate item (and you might not have to work hard to convince anyone that your item is real when the time comes to trade or sell).
That is an interesting point. I think I will end up getting the Judge Foil Karakas.
Is it worth it to purchase a booster box of worldwake? Or would money be better spent on as many RTR boxes that I can grab for the same price?
RTR, I'd say, depending on price of each. Worldwake isn't quite as bad as the Jace-or-Nothing it used to be, but expected value/box seems less than expected value/multiple RTR boxes.
Also not sure what condition the cards are in but is there anything I should know like if the duals are pretty beaten up does the value go down by a lot? Now locally there's no interest in this collection other than me so he's only other option would be to sell it stores and knowing that he wouldn't get much for it either as he can't be bothered to inventory much of it. He's estimating something like 500-1000$ in value at full retail when he looked at a few of the most valueable cards.
I'm not going to comment on what to pay for a lot when I don't know anything other than "there are a couple of duals and maybe some other good stuff", but I will answer the question about condition of dual lands and the price.
The answer is: depends on the edition of the dual, and just how beat up. If, by some happenstance, he's got Alpha or Beta duals, absolutely. They are extremely rare and hard to come by outside of a very niche market, and because their value is in their being collectible and rare, condition can make the difference between a few hundred and a couple thousand. With Revised duals, their primary use is for Legacy and Vintage play and not collectibility, so condition doesn't matter a whole bunch except to the extent that the cards are sleeve playable, though it obviously matters some (15-25% between MP and NM, or thereabouts). Unlimited and FBB duals are somewhere in between on this, though they tend a little more toward condition not quite mattering as much.

Went to a new shop from a friend's recommendation, DQ'ed for willful violation of CR 100.6b.
When buying collections, take a look what's included, usually the seller will list cards (e)he thinks are worth something. Then take all 5+ dollar cards and check what cards are there. For easily movable cards, you can offer 75 % of the TCGlow/eBay value and for niche cards, about 40 % of value. Usually the value hits about 60 % of the collection. Bulk is just added bonus, and sometimes can be pretty valuable bonus, while sometimes it will just take extra work to get rid of it.
If I get a collection with duals, I usually offer to pay well on the duals and gain my value on the other cards. I generally make an excell sheet and offer the buyer to see my prices for big items, if he wants, even when I'm offering a set price for the whole collection.
Always remember that you can either get buylist prices, eBay prices minus the fees or something in betwen, selling here or on Motl or similar. In Europe we have MCM, which only takes 5 % fees, so I tired to lower the offer prices a bit, I usually pay 70 % of the collection.
One you are offered seems pretty small on the big items, but it really depends on when the cards have been bought and when did the seller last play. If five years back, you can really find some gems on the bulk (Wasteland, Lions Eye Diamond etc.). Also if there's alpha, beta, Legends, Antiquities or Arabian Nights cards, those can offer some nice value. Just remmeber to check beforehand, as bad rares from the early expansions are still bad. Only alpha has (currently) the rarity factor making even random Laces worth quite a bit, if they are nm. Unlimited doesn't really offer much in value, except in duals, where the prices go up about 25 % if they are nm or better.

I just got a foil Mutavault (M14). Should I trade/sell or hold onto it? Does it have any value for being foil beyond its market price?
Realistically its bubble is going to pop relatively soon if it already hasn't. BNG increasing the multicolored land/card pool will make less and less decks have the needed space to fit Mutavault in. The foil price has mostly been the same barring the increase in popularity, so even when the price goes down, it won't affect the foil too much, but if you're looking to get max value on it, you should get rid of it ASAP
I have an almost complete foil set of M14 from a GP Detroit Side Event. It is missing all of the white commons and the first three blue commons, and the event organizers did not reply back to me after I contacted them about the issue. Is it worth it to buy the remaining missing foils and sell the set as a whole, or should I just sell the big cards? Alternatively, would it be better to complete the set and hold onto it?

The DRS ban is going to shake up the value of a few cards. Here are my price projections for the next few months in response to this news:
1) DRS: DRS will drop by $5 to $8 due to the ban. Value will be propped up by the card's status as a 4-of in a bunch of Legacy decks, including BUG Delver, Elves, and Deathblade. In the long run, the price will be $20 or so: see Stoneforge Mystic.
2) Dark Confidant: Bob is going to drop like a rock as a result of this ban. His casual appeal was already nil, and now the only Constructed deck he was played in, B/G/x midrange decks such as Jund, are utterly dead now. Legacy Jund is dead and nobody plays Team Italia. My price tag for Bob is $18-25 by the end of 2014. Sell now and price them to move before the big players do.
3) Liliana of the Veil: Liliana of the Veil is another big loser as a result of this ban. Right now, the only thing she's used in is some BUG Delver and Lands builds. Shardless BUG is now a Tier 2 deck in Legacy and she's totally out of contention in Modern now that B/G/x is dead. My long-term price target for Liliana is $15. Again, unload these ASAP, your bank account will thank me later.

I'm going to agree here, not totally though. Those cards will drop, but not like bricks. All the while it will have the adverse effect on other cards. Predictions:
1.) Griselbrand/Snapcaster Mage/Scavenging Ooze/Vengevine: Probably will start picking up steam as these cards will become staple cards here soon and will open up new strategies that were kept down by DRS.
2.)Goblin Guide, has nowhere to go but up at this point. With it's buddy Nactyl back, I can't see Zoo becoming a popular deck again. Goblin Guide is the other front runner of that deck. Though the price may not explode, it should surely increase.
TLDR: If you think a care will gain/lose price because of these recent bannings....they probably will. Others will be thinking it too and pull the trigger if the price is right.
Just sold 4 sp/nm Mistbind clique for $80 plus shipping on eBay, so netting around $70. I'm happy since I paid $10 about a year ago, but I'm wondering if I sold too low. I think the first person to look at the auction purchased it. Do you think they will hold their current value or even go up much higher?

Confidant dropping like a rock will not happen. Still one of the best 2 drop creatures ever printed. Liliana of the veil dropping? Unlikely as well due to her status as 2nd best walker. There will always be demand for her. Deathrite drop 5 to 8? So you mean deathrite at 5 dollars or less, that will NEVER happen, period. I'm going to pick up firesale deathrites like hotcakes and the people fireselling them will regret it a fair bit in a couple of years when deathrite is easily $20+. I love how you compared deathrite to stoneforge too, that's rich. Stoneforge was in worldwake/the number of cases of worldwake that were cracked in comparison to the number of cases of RTR cracked was at least 5:1 in RTR's favor I'd wager not to mention WWK has been out of print for several years while RTR just went out of print a month ago or something (all I've heard around RTR being out of print or not is rumor.)
I bet goblin guide goes in the fast all in versions of zoo. Depends on what version is best though for zoo when a best list is decided upon. Wait and see on that. If GG is in the best version expect

I feel that domain-zoo is the strongest version of the zoos, but due to it's high number of shock lands it needs untapped, it's weak to burn and to burn-zoo, which plays Guides. This is from old playtesting, but not too many new 1 drops have been made since that testing. Naturally sometimes GG's trigger saves 3 damage to domain player, as he just never needs to fetch, but that's the worst case scenario.
So it's possible that GG will go slightly up, but it does not compare favourably to Kird Ape and Loam Lion, while it usually gets past Nacatl once before being outclassed. I would expect Snapcaster Mage being bigger gainer, as blue zoo is a real contender and domain zoo plays sometimes few copies. In mirrors getting two more Lightning Bolts is huge and 2/1 blocker or attacker isn't completely dead either.
I would expect non-basic hate gaining, as killing even one land sometimes slows zoo down enough to give slower decks a cahnce. Ghost Quarter foils have already gone up a bit and maybe even Anathemancer will see some SB play.
