A few weeks ago, I purchased a sealed box of Chinese Saviors of Kamigawa boosters. I have no idea why I did that (temporary insanity, perhaps?), but now that UPS has delivered it to my doorstep I have to decide how to get rid of it. Should I just put the sealed box up for sale, or should I crack it open and sell the singles? Does a market even exist for Saviors of Kamigawa cards, Chinese or otherwise?

Saviors is one of the lowest valued sets in MTG. Starcity was selling italian boxes for $55 a while ago. I'd probably just draft it or something at that price.

Yes, I know, Saviors is the new Fallen Empires. Wait, no, that's not true -- I actually liked Fallen Empires (mainly for the mood and the setting evoked by the flavor text -- Wizards' storytelling peaked with that set). I'm just looking to recoup some of the cash I wasted on the box.

Host a draft with some buddies, charge them like $6-8 a piece. You'll have fun and make your money back.
Ouch. I'm not sure which is worse, Chinese, or Saviors. I don't particularly consider Chinese an exotic language, when there's over a billion people that speak it.
Maybe store it away, and hope the value goes up? Drafting doesn't seem practical when it's a semi-old set, and many people won't remember what the cards do just by picture.

Tempting, but knowing my friends I'd end up spending more on alcohol than they would on packs. I'm leaning toward just putting the box up for a seven day listing on eBay and seeing what happens.

I know finding Chinese language items is about as difficult as talking a dog into eating a porterhouse, but there's a sort of twisted entertainment to basing a card set on Japanese culture and then printing it in Chinese . . . oh hell, I think I just realized why I bought the stupid box in the first place.
One of these days I'm going to learn not to mix online purchases and alcohol.
Well, the (non-foil) money in the set is limited to Kataki, War's Wage; Miren, the Moaning Well, Mikokoro, Center of the Sea,Erayo, Soratami Ascendant and Sakashima the Imposter, and a grand total of ONE dollar uncommon: Manriki-Gusari. Plenty of decent valued foil rares, a handful of $3ish foil uncommons, and 1 $3 foil common.Since Saviors is so old, you'll only get at most 1 foil rare and 5-6 other foils per box. Your best bet is to just do something fun with it, because after shipping, you probably won't make your money back.

I'd just keep it for a few years until Modern has inflated prices so much the box suddenly costs $200. Or they discover a new deck based around a rare from Saviors.
Not knowing what chase rares are in Saviors, I still think it would probably generate enough interests in a Chinese card shop. I witnessed two boxes of Rise of Eldrazi flying off shelves when I went back to Beijing this winter.
If you are not short of cash and want it away soon, I'd say wait to find a player genuinely interested in Chinese boosters. Maybe not $65 interested, but as a Chinese speaker myself, I would be willing to buy it for $50 if I have that cash and can find some other Chinese speaking players to play sealed/pack war with me.
Chase rares include: Erayo, Soratami Ascendant, Kataki's War Rage, Mikokoro, Center of the Sea, Miren the Moaning Well. All of which run about 5-8 dollars.
It's pretty sad when a chase rare from a set is a 5-8 dollar card. Pithing Needle used to have quite a bit of value but they have killed that value with overprinting.

Not exactly, the set was really so bad that the niche card pithing needle ended up being the $20 chase rare. Hell twincast was almost as pricey and it is just a blue fork.

$65 before shipping. Ugh.
For the record, the wine I was drinking that night wasn't even all that good. The whole experience is pretty much a loss on all counts.
kinda hard to draft Chinese boosters unless you can read Chinese lol
