I have a unique opprotunity, with a huge amount of trading in standard things, and other choice cards, to purchase any of the 3 following cards from my local store. Mishra's Workshop, Candelabra of Tawnos, or Bazaar of Baghdad. I am primarily an edh player, any suggestions for what I should pick up and why?
I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
Bazaar goes in the most decks. I would personally get that of the three choices. Given the option of spending money on MTG, I would choose none of these and put my money in something with a little more potential for growth like Scars Duals or some such.
In summation.....Star Trek wins a prolonged naval battle against superior, yet less technologically advanced, numbers, with Picard leading the assault, while Kirk takes your soul by laying out Solo and probably his manservant Chewy as well, before impregnating and ditching your Princess.
Oh, I thought he was talking about playing a spell that is countering a spell with counters on it as it comes into play, but I see you guys were just discussing whether he was flashing a creature with flash in order to flash a flashback or just flashing a creature with flash but not needing flash in order to flashback a spell without flash.
All 3 are legal in commander ;p. Honestly, none of them are bad choices. I'd prolly pick up one that I wanted to play in commander, because for all 4 of them you need a playset to play one of the decks they are in. Candle is the only one legal in legacy as well.
For commander, buy dual lands, they are awesome, any will do from Ravnica or A/B/U if you don't have any already. The A/B/U ones are a safe investment, and you will use them...forever. Plus newer players are always fascinated by them.
Candelabra of Tawnos is the most "fun" out of the 3 you have listed. Bazaar and Workshop are both good, but more "traditional"...this kind of stuff matters to some EDH players, myself included. Workshop is very heavily focused on a certain kind of deck though, so you may buy it and never end up using it. Bazaar is probably the "best" choice looking at the purchase from a strictly pragmatic perspective.

Interesting diversity in opinion here, all the cards are obviously great. It really comes down to what style of deck you prefer to play. If you are combo oriented, go candelabra. If you like ramp into big stuff (or artifact heavy decks), workshop gets you there. If you like toolbox or control oriented decks or just a great draw source, bazaar it is.
I'd personally go for Bazaar, it's marginally harder to obtain than the other two and has tons of flavor.
Go with Candelabra. It's probably the most versatile of the 3 and its power level will continue to rise as more powerful lands are printed. Workshop would be option#2. I'd rate Bazaar as the least useful of the 3. It's only good in builds which rely heavy upon graveyard abuse
Someone should bring up the difference in prices too. Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I haven't seen prices in ages.
Workshop - $350
Bazaar - $275
Candle - $200

I would have to have a play set of dual lands before I would consider buying any of those cards. Of the cards you listed, Mishra's Workshop would be my choice for EDH.
Honestly, I'd just go with whatever fits best in your favorite EDH deck... And I guess if you'd ever want to play Vintage Dredge, Vintage Shop, or Legacy High Tide, that could be the tiebreaker.
But, as other players have said, I personally would target many other staples before these three.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
