Definitely don't sell together, as in, don't ask for one lump sum of $XXX.
If you're planing to sell here, just list the prices next to each playest. You're fine to not break up playsets, actually it's better to move everything as fast as possible. You might have to on the FBB lands as some people want all the same language in their set. The same goes for the sets were only half are signed.
I'd reccomend contacting ABU games or SCG directly and negotiating. It's simply the best way to move things quickly.
Cheers
Agreed.
You may not get the highest price but you will have a lot less hassle to deal with if you ship it all off to one place as opposed to multiple people, and dealing with a reputable store you're less likely to run into 'lost' mail.

Look at my name...what did you expect?
Thank you WOTC for introducing the Modern format, a format where all the whiners can enjoy a level playing field and where they can play with none of the best cards of all time!
As always, you may need to trade speed of sale for price.
While the big shops can make offers, you should get more by parting it out--shops might offer 65% or less of their sell value, while individuals might offer 75% of those prices or more. It would be rare to find an individual who would buy it all as a single package, though. So if you try to maximize value by selling to individuals (who might pay more per playset) first, then selling the remainders to shops, you could get more $$, but at a cost of time (getting initial offers from big shops, then waiting for multiple individuals' offers, then selling the rest to shops in a second/third wave). So if it's a 'gotta sell it now' regardless of loss, then let the big shops give their best offers, and take what you can; if you can, though, I'd suggest the other route.
Never sell high value collections like that as a lump, especially when the parts are so easily sold separately for much, much more.
If you've left yourself no time to make this happen, you're out of luck and will have to take a low lump-sum offer.
But if you've got a little time, you can probably double (approximately) your return. I think a month is plenty of time if you're diligent and start now.
I've been a member here for a while and it looks like it might be time to hang it up :/.
I'm putting together funds for a home. I need to sell these within the month. What is the best way? Is it better to break it up or sell it as a whole?
Thanks and I appreciate your time.

It partly depends on the condition of these cards (because condition matters a lot on these higher-dollar cards). Are they mostly NM or SP or MP?

The Foil fetches are nearly all NM and the FBBs range from SP-NM.
