If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
I'm seeing it in modern decks as well, it seems more popular than even SoFI, hoping to get a few SoFF but would hate to get it at the current price, especially when it is at it's highest.

I see it dropping now that MM is banned in Legacy and Stoneforge decks are now less powerful. But it's atill one of the best swords and with time it'll reach SFI and SLS prices.

Yea I doubt it will get to the sofi price either. Maybe over a long period of time but not initially. The time to get them would be right after rotation but thats a year away. If you plan to play with the card extensively, get one now. The play value for a year is worth it, in my opinion.
I'm just wondering if SoFF current price is going to hold. It's more suited to control decks but we don't see much of control in modern & I'm not sure about control in standard post rotation.

At $25 it won't hold in long term, but i can't see it dropping below $12 when it rotates in a year either. If you got them when stoneforge got banned in standard at $15 you're probably all set on your investment no matter what happens to it. If you got them at $20, it might be worth moving if you can get the $25 and aren't planning to use it.
It's still a solid card, still saw play without the squire to tutor it, and there's still uses for it in standard without little 1/1 angry birds, either the new invisible man (you know it will be tried), or animated inkmoth nexus (3/3 flying infect pro black pro green that forces a discard and untaps itself? Don't mind if i do), so it's not like the card is suddenly going to drop in value or demand with hawks rotating.
Sounds convincing on the merits of SoFF, plus it's still the better equipment around after Innistrad, it does look higher probable it will be the "go to" card for anyone looking to play equipments. Unfortunately that means the card value will continue to hold.

I would say that if a whatever-blade deck posts good results soon after rotation, SoFaF's price has nowhere to go but up (unfortunately). Pre-ban cawblade typically used 1 copy, which drove the price up to around $20. The post-rotation blade decks are likely to use 3 copies so the demand and price should rise accordingly.
Look at it this way, Vengevine was selling for over $30 for quite some time after Fauna Shaman came out, and it didn't even have that great of an affect on standard. I see no reason why SoFaF doesn't have potential to reach ~$35 depending on metagame results.

This post is trolling, right? Vengevine was a top-tier strategy until Shards block rotated out, and was a Legacy staple until Survival was banned.
Problem is the trend so far seems to be on using more than one piece of SoFF, this will only increase the demand for it & subsequently price of the card.
Vengevine is not a good comparison as it's applications is narrower than SoFF IMO.

Not true at all in my opinion. Vengevine made a great impact on legacy survival decks and was great in standard. If you played it, you played 4. SoFF is a great card but only a 3of at most.

Has the price of SoFF peaked? With caw-blade rotating soon do you think we should wait longer before buying it?
It's a solid card and one of the best swords, but the price has probably peaked at this point for its standard run.
