I'm going on record right now and stating that before the end of 2012 we will see foil dual lands in booster packs (The real, Alpha dual lands). You can quote me on that.
I would shop around, that or wait for the initial rush (was there one) to die off. If your going to play with them look into singles possibly. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for this.
Price of singles from it are about $80 on the lowest side on tcgplayer.com

Star City Games was paying $50, Channel Fireball was paying $60 for it when it first came out.
Here in Japan the store I play at is selling it for $50 on their website and had it on sale for $40 in-store. If I remember correctly they had 50 sets listed on their website and are now down to 5, so it seems like it is selling well. Ebay listings are almost all $50 and over. A few ended in the high $40's, not sure if they included shipping.
I think the problem you are going to have asking here about prices is the fact that we are shopping at different stores than you. Since you won't find these at a retailer like Wal-Mart unless you can find it cheaper at a local store you are probably better off buying it off of your friend.
Since SCG's and Channel Fireball were paying so much it is highly unlikely you will find it cheaper from an online retailer, at least in the near future.
Update he just called me and say he will sell it for 52 bucks because he needs cash
