Assume I have a Hermit Druid on the field without summoning sickness.
I decide to play Magister of Worth. I know I can activate Hermit Druid's ability in response to the "will of the council" trigger, but I won't yet know how the vote is going to turn out (assume this is a game with 3 or more players).
My goal would be to play Magister of Worth and once I know that the votes have been tallied in favor of "grace" then I would activate Hermit Druid's ability to hit more creatures in my graveyard. I assume this is not possible because I cannot inject Hermit Druid's ability in the middle of "will of the council's" resolution. Yes?
Follow up question. Assume Saffi Eriksdotter is also under my control. If the vote turns out to be "condemnation" would I have had to have sacrificed Saffi in response to the vote trigger in order to save one of my other creatures?
Nope, it's not possible. You don't get priority while the trigger is resolving to activate the Druid's ability. If you want to activate it, you would have to do so before the trigger resolves (and before players vote).

Scientists have calculated that the chance of anything so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.
