Can Spellskite redirect the above to itself successfully?

For example, the 'equip' ability, or abilities or spells that specify 'target creature/permanent that you control' like...Ancestral Vengeance.

I am assuming an opponent has a spellskite and is attempting to redirect a spell that you cast that specifies "a permanent you control." In that case, no, your opponent's Spellskite is not a legal target.
