I run Fish, have for a long time and always loved the fact that when Standstill is in play, if your opponent plays a spell you draw first before their spell even resolves.
Now, I was thinking about how the stack works the otherday and had a thought...
Why can't my opponent then cast stifle to disrupt it?
Stifle is now on the stack.
I was under the impression that the stack works by resolving what has been played last, first? In this case wouldn't stifle disrupt standstill? I'm sure this isn't possible, but I want to know why.
Thank you!

He can play Stifle targeting the triggered ability of Standstill, but by playing Stifle, he will cause Standstill to trigger again. So the stack looks something like:
The point is, Standstill will trigger each time a spell is played. It can only be sacrificed once (so a player can only ever draw 3 cards, as the drawing is conditional on the sacrifice actually occuring as that instance of the trigger resolves), but it can trigger any number of times. Edit: well, provided the Standstill is in play of course (for those who might want to nitpick that for some situation). So, Stifle doesn't really work, as by playing it you cause Standstill to trigger.
Standstill is in play.
Disenchant is cast.
Standstill triggers. I respond by countering the trigger with Stifle. This causes Standstill to trigger again.
So you can see that the Stifle will cause a second trigger which will sac the standstill and let the controller draw 3 cards. Then the first trigger is countered by stifle (although it would have been countered anyway since there is no standstill to sacrifice anymore). Then Disenchant is countered for lack of a target.
EDIT - I type too slow

I am looking for Date Stamped promos from Khans of Tarkir block so I can finish my set. Check my wants if you have any.
Currently offering 2 non-foil Kolighan's Command for a Date Stamped foil!
As I've understood the card, the sacrifice part is a part of resolving standstill, so when you want to stifle it (which you can do), you trigger standstill yet another time.
edit: way too slow (wondered why no-one had anwsered it yet)

They can cast stifle, targetting the Standstill's triggered ability, but it will be useless because Standstill will just retrigger off the played Stifle, and another triggered ability will go on the stack on top of the Stifle.
The stack will look like this (top down):
Standstill triggered ability triggering off of Stifle
Stifle
Standstill triggered ability triggering off of Disenchant
Disenchant

Let's say my opponent casts disenchant on standstill...
Disenchant is now on the stack.
Now Standstill breaks for card draw.

so we have

disenchant.
