So I was just scrolling the classifids when I found this bot. It said, Honest bot pays the most, so I figure ok, lets see how much it is buying Sphinx's revelations for. See attached picture for the laugh.
I wish you could search by contents of a bot's collection. That would make finding obscure pauper cards 10000000x easier
You sort of can. Mtgolibrary lists bots on their network that have and sell the card, along with some prices. Mtgotraders lists stock on their website. A few other bot networks do the same. It's just a matter of finding which network you like best. I have 4 networks I do all my card shopping and selling at. They may not always have the best prices to buy/sell at, but between the 4 of them I never have to really dig for stuff I need or want to sell.

Yeah, but it's still more of a hassle. Also, they aren't constantly updated. I went to 20 different bots looking for SB cards that were all supposed to have the cards in question
You can always message me on MTGO, I'll help you find what you need if it's too much hassle. Username is cweaver. I've done it for a few people, give me tix to put together optimum prices for decks and cards and I just keep the credit on the bot networks. I'm always putting together obscure Pauper decks and trying new things, so the work I do is always worth it to me.

Or then just offer stock-like system where hundreds of people have their items by price.
Speculation would be insanely rampant. The supply of MTG cards esp rares and mythics are way too thin to be represented that way.
Go play any MMO with this type of system (Aeon, GW2) to see why it's ripe for manipulation.
The only way to curb manipulation is to put a stiff transaction fee. Even then it doesn't stop people from manipulating markets. (Illegal in the real stock market).

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.

I'd be interested in knowing the other bot networks you use. Library has been horribly inconsistent for me. Traders has EVERYTHING and aren't priced out of the market but the not less popular commons can usually be had from the 100-50 commons for a ticket bots for cheaper.
Searching for 'human sell' in classifieds has netted me great deals on cards I wanted when they were expensive. Mostly by buying more than I need for less than it's worth and selling off the difference to bots. People will often take a slight loss over 'sell' price so they don't end up giving to bots at 'buy' price and I can get a deal in the middle of that margin.
Dojo, Academy, JBStore, mtgotraders. I always do a mtgolibrary search first though, cause sometimes you can catch a great deal. A library search the other day got me a play set of Gorilla Shamans from a bot for 7.4 tix a few days back, and the Mox Monkeys usually run 3-4 a piece.
All of those networks have websites you can search their stock except Dojo, but Dojo usually just has everything pretty much.
The human sell search is a great resource as well. Definitely can save you tix if you're patient.

And you go, "Yeah, i'll totally get a good deal! 5.5 each gives me 2 extra tickets for my playset over the 5.1 bots!"
And then you go to trade with that bot and they're actually buying the card for 4.9
They really need moderators to make sure they're actually buying for their advertised price instead of just wasting time. It's complete BS.
Not nearly as bad? Had I taken that trade, I would have lost around 100 tickets.

Yeah, but I doubt there is anything Wizard can do, it would be nice if they could change it.

If you could simply block dishonest chains, it would go a long way towards mitigating this problem.
