Okay, I plan on starting up MTGO, but i was wondering what are the prices on cards and such. Like how much would it cost to build a competitive deck? I play Boat Brew in real magic and win with all the time so i would like to build that but how much will the cards cost me roughly. Thanks a bunch.
I'd recommend a different dealer to MTGO Traders, as they have a fairly high markup (good place to get your last few cards tho, as they are pretty much always in stock).
I'd try supernova bots first. (Again, google them). Generally they are cheap but they don't stock commons or uncommons, and they often are out of stock too.
Compare the prices though - often one dealer is cheaper than another on one card but more expensive on another.
If you're buying using Paypal funds, MTGOTraders has an 8% discount that makes buying that way better than buying tix from WotC or taking a chance on a lesser known dealer in-game.
The only way I'm aware of to get a better deal than Paypal through MTGOTraders lately is to sell poker money, although with the Auction room on life support lately, I'm not sure that'll be viable for too much longer.
