I know the old gaming magazine Inquest included a jumbo version of Chaos Orb in an issue; perhaps those cards are more promos from the same magazine or another (Scrye?).

(about the English language) It's kinda like a raft that was cobbled together from parts of three different boats and since then has been kept barely afloat with crude repairs every time a leak appeared.
I vaguely remember those. Promotional item iirc. Came out sometime around Ice Age I think? I'm pretty sure I remember one friend talking about getting one because he thought it was the only way he'd be able to afford a Black Lotus.
I somehow want a 60 card deck of these and play with them on a public square. I gues they are kinda awkward to shuffle, though..
Well, considering that there were only 8 different posters made in total, and no basic lands, it would make it kinda tough.
Also, these things are not made out of Magic card stock. They are 12x18 posters. The stock is a bit thicker than a regular poster would be, but they are rather flimsy still.

How did cards from Visions come out around Ice Age?
Awesome! Thanks for all the responses! I figured they were probably just store promo items. I'm not sure where he got them, but they also came with some hanging promos, boxes (for boosters), and some kind of sign up station for the "Fire in the Sky Contest." I have no idea what that is
These posters are definitely pretty interesting though. I'm thinkin I'll for sure be picking them up.
Really like the idea of having people dress up as Planeswalkers and play with giant, poster-sized decks though... if only it were possible...

Youre not the first person who has tried to be a smart ass about my memory but hopefully maybe youll be the last. The answer is because these didnt all get printed at the same time. Stop arguing long enough to use your brain. If wotc printed a new one with the avacyn logo would you then say "how did avacyn cards come out around ice age?"
Images of the "cards" in question can be found here.
Are they just promotional signage from way back when, or were they from something else?
I'd really just like a little bit of info about these, so if you've seen them somewhere or have info to share, I'd very much appreciate it!

As for a value, like everything else, they're worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

They were promotional posters that Wizards provided to shops back in the day. Visions was a loooooong time ago.
They may be worth something to rarities collectors. Things of that size tend to get dinged up pretty easily or destroyed.

They used to do this at conventions/big events. They got a bunch of volunteers and had each hold 1 card. I'm not sure if they still do this.
