Lightning Strike is going to be better mainboard unless your meta is infested with life gain. Even at that, Lightning Strike will still be decent vs. these decks with the exception of Sphinx's Revelation decks. It takes a little thinking and analyzing of your LGS's metagame.

Legacy - Sneak Show, BR Reanimator, Miracles, UW Stoneblade
Premodern - Trix, RecSur, Enchantress, Reanimator, Elves https://www.facebook.com/groups/PremodernUSA/ Modern - Neobrand, Hogaak Vine, Elves
Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)
Draft - (I wish I had more time for limited...)
Commander - Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build) (dead format for me)
With Thragtusk gone I can't see Skullcrack being anything more than a very niche SB card. I am not even sure that they are your best SB option against the Revelation decks, where you might rather just have more/better anti-control threats like Domri, Xenagos, Stormbreath, and Purphoros.
I have a R/G aggro bloodrush deck and I'm takeing out 4 Searing Spear. Should I replace them with Skullcrack or Lightning Strike? Which is better?
Skullcrack for Control, Lightning Strike for everything else. Skullcrack is for sideboards or someone who has a playset of Fog, but not many people play fog.
